This precisely mirrors my experiences - plural - on AI in the last couple of years. Aircraft are dirty and in a poor state of repair. Cabin crew can be excellent or, more often, care little or nothing for their passengers' wellbeing. Food is unappealing. Sadly, even under new ownership, the quality of this airline is very poor.

In the past i refused to fly Air India . This is the new Air India as aweful as in past . In the future I will never fly Air India.
Hopefully Air India could start to retrofitting the cabins on their widebody fleet soon.

I only recommend their newer planes. Flew JFK-BOM. Everything was very clean and the food was very good. This was on their leased 777 from Delta
Travelled on DXB-MUM Dream liner 😢... Sad to say it was filthy!!!!
Touch screen is ok
these aircrafts are pain, so bad seats that had backache for next 1 week. Also, the in flight entertainmnet system doest work in most cases. Horrible

Inside the plane's cabin, the smell of curry was so strong.
Smell of curry is not a big deal anymore as all major airlines serves curry even in first class suites.
@@TripandTravels Indian curry smells strong in addition to the mens BO.
