  • This is a cool mod I was planning since I bought this model, it's a great little glider that's for sure but it's quite fast on landings and it takes some more space to land then I would like, so I decided to go ahead and apply the flaps, as you might know it doesn't have any originally.
Very happy with this mod, I just needed a little down elevator compensation (about 16% still adjusting...) but it makes a TON of difference on landings, much easier now and I'm sure I will be easier also to land on the slopes with no runway where you need to float allmost stationary and land ;)

Nice, just got this model. I'll try to see how 2S works. I hate when a model is underpowered, though. I'll see. I have two 2s 2200mah and two 3s 2200mah. So I don't really care about the battery. I could even use my two 3s 1300mah. I guess that would fit best. Not sure I wanna upgrade the motor, it's always a bit of risk a meddling with the model.

I am totally confused:- I have bought the Phoenix 742-7 and see there are items that the kit does not include however I cannot find what items are missing or a list of items recommended . I would appreciate somebody telling me the full details of these items so that I can receive them for when the aeroplane arrive; It is impossible to contact anybody to find out.

BTW, I see you don't have the stock spinner? I guess you also got a better set of props? Apparently the stock props are pretty bad...

The spinner is stock, only painted white :) the prop is now an aero naut carbon 10x5, the motor is upgraded for 3S but it a bit too weal for this propeller, should be better with a 9x6.
Please don't use a 3S pack with the stock motor, you will burn it. Cheers
