Planes in the photo are G4M1 Betty’s of the Kanoya Air Group (Kanoya Kokutai). They participated in raids on Port Moresby and Darwin, and major raids on Guadalcanal. They were also part of the attack that sunk the British ships Prince of Wales and Repulse using torpedoes and bombs.
These stories are great. The narrative is engrossing. However, the lack of context is very frustrating. If you could please provide the author's name and the date and location of the battles described, it would be so much more enriching.
Kids, 18-21yrs old. They look like guys in their late 40s. The hell they went through. And the best we can do for a presidential candidate is a draft dodging coward!!!
Are you fing kidding? I'm a vet, 70-78, I have no grievance against anyone who was able to avoid that war You sound a fool, if that's best you can come up with! You'll take a dedicated communist, over someone who has built something?
You’re talking about Joe Biden, right? "Lifeguard/Football player Joe Biden got five draft deferments for asthma during Vietnam.” “Biden received five student draft deferments, first as an undergraduate at the University of Delaware and later as a law student at Syracuse University. “And after a medical exam in April 1968, he received the "1-Y" classification, which meant he could only be drafted in a national emergency. Biden released his Selective Service records to the Associated Press in 2008. At the time, a spokesperson said he was ‘disqualified from service because of asthma as a teenager,’ per The News Journal. And then there’s Tim Walz, who is in the National Guard for 27 years and then quit two months before the rest rest of his unit was sent to Iraq.
@@brucelytle1144 you’re absolutely right; VP candidate Tim Walz said “one man socialism is another man’s neighborliness.“ like the 15 million Russians, who died under Soviet socialism in the 60 million Chinese, who died under Mao’s socialism.
Draft dodger? You’re talking about Joe Biden, of course. He got five military deferments rather than serve in the military. Claimed he had asthma, but he was a lifeguard.

Your videos are great but your titles are incredibly annoying, it makes it sound like cheap clickbait..

Draft dodger? You’re talking about Joe the potato, of course: he got five military deferments because of “asthma”. Punchline: he was a lifeguard.
