Sorry I’m a year late; just seeing this video! I was wondering if you could go over how you made your initial pattern based on an already assembled piece? Also, now that you have had it a year, what changes would you make to this vest? I’m looking to incorporate a hood and a chest pocket. Thank you, Michelle! Great work!
I just traced the seams of an existing puffy vest that fit me well! And if I made it again, I would use knit binding to finish the bottom instead of folding it over and trying to hem it. The hem was a little messy because the shape of the best tapered out on the bottom
This is just awesome and SUPER helpful !! Thank you for putting this out ! Will you be putting out anymore videos ?!
Love it thank you for sharing the techniques, also the vest looks great
Really excellent explanations. And I like that you were honest about the tricky parts. Thank you for making this video x
thanks for watching!
this DOES NOT look like something i could ever do, yet you make it look so easy.
Really the "vest" tutorial ever!! Everything

Thank you!
I love this! Great tutorial.
Thanks so much! I'm debating what color to make next haha
can i get this pattern
Since it's not down insulation why did you quilt it ? Was it just for the look ? It's really nice but I was just wondering.
I don't think it does anything insulation wise, but it does keep the insulation in place and yes, it looks nicer :)
