Can you spray the non-waterproof fabric with waterproofing of some type so that way it will still be usable as a waterproof coat?

also why did u use fibrefill only for the belt and pockets and not for the whole jacket? you couldn't put the pillow stuffing in the fibrefill for the jacket? (asking bc im making one for school project)
