These are perfection!! I have been eyeing these vests for a long time, but I never tried quilting.. you inspired me to try and make my own! Love your style😊
Lovely! Wondering if you added pockets to the "inside" of the yellow vest as well then you could stitch them both on with the machine in one go and lose the need to hand stitch. Obviously a different look, but any idea 🤷🏼♀️
Yeah, couldn't figure out the gaping...now looking back I think I needed to adjust the slope of my shoulder and that could have fixed it rather than shortening the shoulder, but that was definitely an easy fix that helped in the moment.
I’m in love with these vests!!! Once I get moved and my sewing room in order I’m making this for winter
Yay!!

The quilting on this vest is perfect if you’ve never quilted before💕 Happy sewing!

Thanks for watching!
Loved both versions but my favourite is the lemon as I prefer the v neck.
So fun to have both styles! Thanks for watching 💕

I definitely considered that, but decided I wanted the yellow side without pockets, that would have made it so much easier though!
Totally fair!! Worth the hand stitching then 😊
Hi, on the bias tape part, what seam allowance did you use on making the continuous bias tape?
Nevermind, I need to start over. My lines didn't match up and I did something wrong
For sewing the shapes together to make the continuous bias tape (before I cut it) I used 3/8” seam allowance
I made a size 18 and there was SO MUCH gaping in the front of the arm hole. I didn’t even think to shorten the shoulder!

I love the video and quality however the mic needs an upgrade. I can hear all the saliva in your mouth and it's driving me insane.
Sorry about that
