  • Sweet funk roll. First match of consolation round at state. The wrestler in white got third this year. The other got first the next year. The guy in white was sick his first match and shouldn't have lost. But wrestling is cool, but you should all trick instead.

    Before the video was deleted, there was an highlight reel of former Gopher all-american Mike Thorn about 3 or 4 years ago and he hit this roll. That was the first time I had seen it. This one seems to have gone better considering he didn't hurt the other kid.

    You want to eat four servings of broccoli for maximum funkiness. Then moonwalk around. This is the proper set up.

    That's some good shit. 12 years ago...just when that was getting to be a popular defense. Usually you're not going to come up and score that cleanly on it, but it does create some awesome scrambles and it's why its so hard to score cleanly at a high level.
    This is slick...not click bait! Most of these are.

    @bjjwannabe152 Funk creates scrambles, which if you know what to do in that scramble, you come out on top. He just did a front flip ankle pick, which is almost identical to the Kolat flip, just forwards instead of backwards.

  • @rayrayraw7198
    @rayrayraw7198 11 років тому

    The setup is a single hop. You hop to where you are right beside him and forward roll, grabbing the closest leg. If you are fast its nice to get out of a takedown but it puts you in a scramble situation.

I would have done rolls like this to get out of situations if I knew it was allowed when I was in highschool.
