    All of your videos are great, in the true sense of the word. You cover a lot of good information with a clear and concise delivery and how it relates to practical applications. You are obviously a knowledgeable and experienced wrestler which helps make sure the information being learned is solid. I will watch whatever videos you may make in the future. Good stuff.

    What happens if he doesn't pop his head out? Would a quarter nelson also work if he doesn't pop his head up?

    @IrishxCarey there is no 100% sure that any move is going to work. Do anything that is possible to do. practise yourself in that position and see different alternatives to this. Everything comes with experience. But anything you do, try to do it quick, that way opponent wont have time to counter you. And to be fast, you need to practise this move 10000 times

    GTF outa here....never seen a single leg defense done like this. Will try this in my MMA training. Thanks.

      People in mma most likely won't be shooting sweep singles though so you probably won't need to use this

    • @aspiringrunner4796
      @aspiringrunner4796 10 років тому +2

      In a sense, yes, you are correct about the shooting sweep singles part. I was more talking about that position (0:22). I've been in it a couple of times(usually when both are exhausted) and proved a little problematic for me to counter other then standing up and pulling my leg out. I'd just prefer to have this technique as an option if i discover my opponent's ground game is weaker so i can keep the fight on the ground for better odds of winning the fight by knocking him out on the ground or submission.

      Sk Ali set up your shots first don't just go in snap their head or push and pull on them then shoot for a double or a hi c double

      If you are new don't practice this stuff until you get the basic Level change, stance, and bottom man defense.
