Hi Rach!!! 💗Could you maybe do monthly reading journal updates, showing how you start a new page for every month and going through what you've done in your reading journal at the end of each month? 📖✨
I am thinking about setting up a reading journal for the first time next year and just saw your video. So comprehensive and very useful. Thank you for sharing. 🥰
Can I just say your video is soooo inspiring! As someone who loved journaling and is trying to get back into it, same with reading I am excited about creating a mini version of this reading journal inspired by yours! 💕💕 thank you for the inspiration!
Loved this!! Thanks for showing us! Suggestion for re-reads: Thoughts/perceptions that have changed or remained the same. Reading the same book at different stages in life yields different discoveries about yourself 💛 happy reading!
If you like reading data you should try out storygraph! It's just goodreads, but it gives you a bunch of visual graphs about your reads for the year -- I love it!
Awhh omg!! She delivered!!! 🥰💘 the spreads look so cute! And it was nice to hear about why you kept some and got rid of some! I will definitely take some ideas and inspiration from yours, such as the series tracker which look sso nice and clean
It is my second year with reading journal. It is a nice change instead of keeping up with everything digital. Keeping track of things on paper has more charm.❤
rachel your spreads are THE CUTEST!! i used to bullet journal so this is really taking me back LOL but i love love love how yours turned out, it’s so you 💗💗💗
Loveee this! Would love to see a 6-month journal check in/update or something 💗 I use Notion at the moment to track my reads, but would LOVE to get a physical journal, it looks so fun and creative
I usually am not a fan of books spreads set ups videos but YOURS OMG!! ❤ it’s so pretty and it looks amazing and really inspiring!! Love from France 🫶🏼
Your reading journal setup is absolute perfection!! My Primrosia journal just came in the mail today, and I am LOVING the thick watercolor pages! Thank you for the recommendation
This was really cute and pretty!!! I actually really enjoyed this video. I have a request can you show us you feeling this every month. In your monthly wrap ups.
I saw Harry Potter & I can't wait for you to dive into the series ^-^ It was a trademark of my teen years... I used to go to the midnight book releases. Thanks a ton for this. I've been thinking about setting 1 up myself now that I've been reading so much more. Happy new year! 💜
I like those ideas. I need to do a Bucket List spread for those nagging classics I aspire to read one day. And that TBR cart is so cute. I might do a focused small TBR spread like that. I need to do a bucket list for those "classics" I aspire to read one day. My actual TBR is too huge to create a comprehensive spread for that is usable. I don't like microtracking personally, so any data spreads aren't practical for me. I know I can use goodreads, but I don't even tract all my online reading there (I read light novels and fanfic a lot and many are not on goodreads). If you have space in a journal you want to use, creating a Top 10 books of all time (I did top 25 because I am a huge rereader), Top 10 Favorite authors, and individual spreads for favorite series (especially nice if you are doing a reread) is always a creative and fun project. And over the years the choices can change, so that is nice to commemorate. Series spreads I have done: Bridgerton, Anne of Green Gables, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Vorkosigan series, and Sherlock Holmes. Authors: Jane Austen, Edgar Allen Poe, and the Bronte sisters.
I am trying to create a journal tracker but I am finding that if I use our typical bullet journal like this I never have enough room or I leave too much so I wanted to work on a binder insert type just trying to figure it out. Thanks for your inspo
Waiting for mine from Little Inklings Design to arrive (late ordering). It is heading across Canada to me at the moment. Also have a second order to be shipped of planner supplies that was made last Saturday when they did a restock of products ❤
Hi Rach, just thought I’d ask as I always struggle with how to track this, but what would you do if you have a physical copy of a book but also read that on kindle / ku as well? Would you put it in kindle reads or is that section just for books you read entirely on your kindle?! 💕
How do you do the pages “inside” pages … I think it was one of the tbr pages … where it almost looks like there’s a small book of pages inside the spread
Hey Rach. Love the video. Just a bit of humble feedback for you. Maybe try slowing videos like these down. I found it a bit too fast. I understand that it is probably this way because you didn't want the video to end up too long but just thought I'd let you know! ❤
Hello, does anyone know the colored craft paper that Rachel used or have any recommendations on good colored craft paper? I’m looking for some for my journal ❤️📚
I saw the title not knowing this was actually about a journal about "reading". This is gonna sound weird, but I thought it was going to be about making a journal you can go back and read without feeling embarassed that you stressed over little things that didn't matter or cringey brain dumps. All that said, though, loved the artistry with these spreads. I read a lot but maybe not this much- although I'm probably overdue to update my Excel sheet with the books I own

Where do you print your little book covers from? This was so satisfying to watch. Loved it!
I love this so much!

Great video Rachel!
Loved this so much!!!!
Your so talented
Using this as inspiration!
If you created this reading journal I would definitely purchase it 😂
So would I!
Waiting for mine from Little Inklings Design to arrive (late ordering). It is heading across Canada to me at the moment. Also have a second order to be shipped of planner supplies that was made last Saturday when they did a restock of products ❤
Love the bookshelf pages. Little Inklings does that too. And I loved coloring that in to show how many books I read❤
With your new books you should also add the price or “gifted” on it so you know how much you spend on books too.
Hi Rach, just thought I’d ask as I always struggle with how to track this, but what would you do if you have a physical copy of a book but also read that on kindle / ku as well? Would you put it in kindle reads or is that section just for books you read entirely on your kindle?! 💕
Love the simple spread rachel. Added all the stationery to my cart :)))) Where do you get stickers from?
What about applying a light/thin layer of modpodge on the glitter page. Then you won’t worry about stars and glitter coming off :)
Would love to know she got those flowers perfectly arranged on the page ! Was it stencil she penciled in or just free handed it? 🤯
Hey Rachel what supplies do u use when annotating books? Were the fineliners you showed in the video okay for underlining things in a book?
How do you do the pages “inside” pages … I think it was one of the tbr pages … where it almost looks like there’s a small book of pages inside the spread
Oh my gosh if you love stats you'd love storygraph. It's like goodreads but with stats. It's way better imo
what does the G and PG mean on the reading log page? Journal looks great!
G = genre and pg = number of pages! 🩷
aaa so cuute
How did you do the setup for the physical tbr where there are pages within?
3:03 like book bingo but bigger
Would be cool for you re-reads to list your original rating and new rating!
Can you share the markers you use?!? ALSO YOURE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!! ❤
Linked in the description 🥰

can you tell me the name of the pen you used to color the page blue?
