You have the coolest job ever! Always love seeing your journal set ups. I think the maps connecting every year is genius! I also went for an ocean view in my shelfy spread, but didn’t have a pirate ship sticker. It screams adventure!
I was going to do a reading journal but gave up and this inspired me to retry it! I attempted one this year and stopped halfway through the year but that’s also the longest I’ve ever done one so maybe I can do it the entire year next year!
your journal is gorgeous! thank you so much for actually filming yourself cutting the dutch doors. I want to do one in my reading journal for 2025 but I am really nervous and I haven't seen any videos of people actually doing the cutting so this was amazing to see.
You are so creative and such a great drawer. You even inspired me to copy the idea of one of your pages (the 100 blocks and use a different color for each month). 👍🏻😊💛
This is such a beautiful setup (and SO fun that your title page maps connect!!)! Shoutout to Apothecary Diaries my beloved 💖 If you're a stats girlie and haven't gotten onto StoryGraph, you DEFINITELY should. SO satisfying, and you can see stats on all sorts of stuff including custom tags (I tag based on where I source my books, but I know other people use them for tropes, etc...). Super easy to import your Goodreads library, so you can look at historical data too! Anyways, this has definitely inspired me to acquire some map washi! Love it! ✨
I thought about getting this EXACT journal, and now seeing it, it's even more gorgeous than I thought and maybe this is the year i actually commit hahaha
For new releases, I go to Barnes & Noble’s website and they have a page for new releases by month. If you go there now, you can see all of the titles that they have listed for next year. Some books don’t release their dates until later, so I would just check back every couple of months to see if it’s updated with any new titles.
I’m actually excited for Sunrise on the Reaping as I love Haymitch so much but I haven’t read A Balled of Songbirds and Snakes as I never wanted to because I hate Snow but now I kinda want to read for I can have read them all!
Thank you very much for the video, your design is beautiful and you gave me a lot of ideas and inspiration. 8 hours is really a lot of time, WOW, but I think it was really worth it, it turned out beautiful Greetings from Germany
I don't really keep up with new releases because I have way too much to do and read before I can get to them and they'll probably be just as good a few months later. also, where do people get the money from to buy that many books?! I'm just a simple, broke, uni student
@@tine272 yeah I get that and I also have a parttime job besides being a full time student but when I see people hauling 100+ new books every couple of months I do fear for their bank account I use my library a lot, but since I'm not from an English speaking country, most of the books they have are translated and their stack of English books is very limited unfortunately
Doing the connecting maps each year, that is SO COOL
ah thank you!!! ❤️❤️

Project Hail Mary and The Lies of Locke Lamora are two of my absolute favorites books. So excited to see them on your tbr!
The woman on the series tracker page is definitely a vibe, and you’re a top notch circle drawer! 🤣

This video was very inspiring! I’ve been book journaling since September of this year and can’t wait to journal some more in the new year. ❤

I have the same notebook in a B6 that I want to use as my first ever Reading journal. Thanks for some inspiration

Love a good reading journal video. I am still finishing my reading journal at the moment but getting to the end to be ready for next year.
@@Kittyzero13426 you've got plenty of time!! 🥰
I color the book type on my library page, but color the rating for my tracker! I like having a quick glance for both.

@elisabethprice4697 it's an interesting book for sure, quite the whiplash because you start off almost rooting for Snow. but by the end...yikes 😬
