I plan on writing a reading journal next year because I've been so busy, I didn't keep track of what I was reading for the past two years. But books calm me down. I need to spend more time with reading again, and journaling. Anyway, I find it so helpful and calming to watch your videos after exhausting or shitty days (like actually today was incredibly bad). i saw the cutest little bracket on pinterest. basically it has twelve spots (one for every favorite of the month) and then you slowly battle them out til ur left w the top favorite of the year. such a cute video… you and des have inspired me to make a 2024 book journal 💗💗
I'll have to look that up, I've been interested in creating a battle of the books bracket spread. Reading journals are so much fun! There are tons of inspiration on UA-cam - it can get overwhelming but just create what feels right.. the journal is for you not everyone else. 🙂

same!! Last year I decided to do a sort of “junk journal” instead where i put anything i want! Reading journal stuff, lists, and any spread I saw on pinterest that I wanted to do lol. I also never set a schedule like “I need to journal once a day” because that just overwhelmed me. I ended up sticking with my journal and it was the first time I was able to do that. Highly recommend!!

There is an app called storygraph that has really satisfying graphs when it comes to tracking reading goals and has this little flame in the corner when you hit your daily reading goals, sorry for the bad English, not my first language :). i love your reading vlogs they motivate me to read when im inn a readingslump.
Always good to just go with the flow and not me too perfectionistic. I tend to not start because I think it won’t be perfect and might as well just not do it at all 😅. Let me know Haley if you still want another one of those patchwork journals. I know how to bookbind and how to quilt, so I could make that happen 😊.
Sometimes urban outfitters will still do random drops of cloth bound bullet journals! Over the summer, they released some zodiac ones so you just have to keep an eye out for them
I spent quite a while going through Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn on my Kindle, marking out when I need to change to each book. I’m not reading the series till next year, though!!!
Very Fun. I am trying to finish up a few books for the year and plan out books for next year so i might steal a few ideas. While I am sure you have plenty of books tbr, I recommend looking at Elizabeth Musser, either her "Secrets of the Cross" trilogy or "The Swan House". Happy Holidays

I make a calendar and then print off books and adhere them to the day I finished the book. Then I decorate the page and do a page and book count
