There are sooo many mice being released these times, that the most important thing to look for in a mouse rn is 100% the shape. They are all getting 4k, 8khz and the best specs now, that the shape, and build quality, should really be the only thing that decides our buying decision.
Most sensors and switches are similar or the same so I picked on shape and convenience. A local store let me try out the Zowie U2 to see how it fit my hand. Like a glove apparently lol. And the included charging dock/receiver sold me. It’s only 1k but I felt no real difference with the 4K ULX I used to have. I had the Sora V2 for a long time and it was great but my hand doesn’t miss it.
@ Probably lol. I’ve had a lot of luck with them and just settled on what felt the best. I never did try Pulsar. Will likely get their current newest one when my Zowie breaks.
I agree. I own an Endgame gear OP1 8k and it would definitely be way too skinny for a good amount of people I think. I have quite small hands with not very long fingers so the mouse works well for me. Another thing someone considering buying a mouse above 1k polling hz is the game they play and how new it is. I know when I tried playing Fortnite with a buddy of mine, using anything above 1k polling would cause insane stutters in game when moving the mouse left and right quickly. My pc is pretty good so I figure it can run higher polling rates (I have a Ryzen 9 7950x and Rtx 3080)
Yeah 8k is definitely gimmicky. I think the sweet spot is 1-4k polling hz depending on the dpi you use. I use 400 dpi and it barely even reaches 1k most times. I think someone who used 800-1600dpi should be going for a 2-4k polling hz mouse.
In a way. Even if you use low sensitivity, having a higher poll rate does help if you have to flick your mouse every so often. The fast movements take advantage of the poll rate
I think the pulsar X2V2 & X2H are highly underrated. The only bad things about them both is QC issues and (on the black model) smudge issues on the coating.
I bought the x2v2 mini last christmas and it is so much better than the superlight. Much better side buttons, good optical mouse buttons. I also got the white version and have had no issues with it after a year.
They won't make you better, but they will make improving your aim faster. Also, if you're on a 100g brick mouse, getting one of these and lowering your sens will 100% make you better.
Previously I had never bought wireless or even somewhat expensive mice, but sometime last year I got a decent bonus from work and figured I'd buy the Viper V3 Pro just to treat myself a bit and I love it
Saw the hitscan mouse for the first time here, I was searching for the viper mini form, bought it a month ago and I love it, thank you for the recommendation
OP1 8k for me. I much prefer how mechanical switches feel compared to opticals. The shape is also exactly what I was looking for in a mouse being similar to my favourite fingertip shape the X2V2 Mini which I also still use.
I bought an OP1 8k and swapped to the XM2w 4k mainly because of the shape being a little too small for my hands. Still a great mouse though and with a bungee it feels almost wireless.
@@o9omc Yeah the XM2w 4k or XM2 8k is amazing too, same specs and everything just different shape and no hot swapping unfortunately! There's just something about mechanical switches, they feel way better than any opticals. I have small hands and like to claw/fingertip my mice so the X2 and OP1 shapes are perfect for me.
I can't go back to using a mouse without a middle wheel lock function. It's become such a nice feature that it's down right annoying not to have it now.

@@MMmagze Its definitely not for everyone. I also tend to use heavier mice as well which is another reason why I pick the g502. I throw all the weights in.
The most used mouse (mice) by pro players is all about sponsorships - not necessarily what they would choose if they weren't paid. So statistics regarding who uses what in professional e-sports doesn't mean anything except which companies can afford the best players
never did like Razer products due to having bad QC experiences but they really hit it out of the ball park with the viper v3 pro. paired with a good pad like a saturn pro or a artisan this mouse is incredible.
I’m so happy to see the Hitscan Hyperlight here 😄 I’ll buy myself soon too, I think. It will fight for my main with a ULX Competition. I do have mostly a fingertip grip, though. Tbh as a readily available everywhere larger safer mouse is easier to recommend to an average Joe so I understand why Viper topped the list here and not the Hyperlight. Hitscan seemed like really cool people when I emailed them, btw.
NGL, kinda annoyed by the current mouse market. All the fuss is around the mice with two side buttons. My Aerox 5 still seems to be one of the better ones out there for people who need more than all of these.
Which has the most durable scroll wheel? Most of the mouse I had has marketed best click lifespan, but the scroll wheel is always the one to break first...
Logitech has now started selling an upgraded PRO LIGHTSPEED RECEIVER dongle for $29. Once you select the superlight 2/2 dex on the right hand side just below the 'add to cart' there's an option to add a Headset and the new Pro receiver dongle for 'Better 8k performance' according to Logitech. Haven't seen anyone mentioning it though. They hide it well. Will you be trying it out/getting it in? I'm curious if the latency will improve.
8k polling is definitely worth it and a must have - so you can stop gaming and charge more often, which cuts the gaming time significantly so you can actually do something else. It also ruins the battery at an accelerated rate so your next late night mouse purchase is much easier to justify.🎉
i got the superlight2 glides insanely well for me idk why in ur vid it doesnt glide so far but glides rlly far for me xd rlly good mouse its deff reccomended

Great list, however I can't personally recommend DAV3 Pro. 1. For the same price, I got an ATK X1 Ultimate and a Mad R Major 2.
