I apologize, but I believe you have fumbled by not including this anywhere on the list. The Hitscan Hyperlight has been hyped by all my friends. I simply don't have it because I'm waiting to try a high quality ergo. Also this mouse is only $90.
07:24 Yes, if the industry keeps pushing 8k like it's some crazy advantage and people keep claiming that they can tell the difference in a blind test, we will have more to say 😂 Interesting list and yeah wasn't too varied, but when 95% of the top mouse companies are just cloning each other or making minor adjustments, is it really your fault? We need more risk-takers in gaming mice again. Great vid as always!
will we ever see an mz1 v2.0? I've had 2 wired and 1 wireless. perfect shape 4me. unfortunately the sensors started acting weird after a while and I ended up getting a different mouse (OP1).
risk taker like the OptimumTech's mouse? that looks like a dam squeleton of a mouse... I think that thing was around 20grams? nah I'm good, I rather keep 60gr standard shape mouses that works amazing for a hand... Have you seen anyone take the risk of changing the design of cart wheels in recent years? Exactly.
@@YuProducciones Xtrfy took a risk and let me design a new shape, and it worked out well. And that was playing it safe. There is so much that can be done with mouse shapes still, I have a few designs in the works, one of which may change mouse shapes forever, who knows, it's a risk, we will see. But the point is, we won't know unless we try, so yeah, I want risky mice to see if we can find something new to help us play at our best, not the same old same old.
Your analogy about the mechanic switching out his tools is a great comparison. A lot of people spend too much time tinkering with their set up when they need to just be clicking heads.
I just got the basilisk v3 pro 35k this weekend after my ultimate quit doing wireless. The flick to free spin the mouse wheel is freaking awesome and I can tell the sensor is more accurate
Endgame Gear XM2 8K is the mouse of the year for me, extreme performance and I don't have to worry about battery charge anymore. Also the Maya X should be among honorable mentions they deserve it.
your videos always pop up right when i'm considering a new purchase 😭 i have a deathadder v3 and dont really have a reason to upgrade.. but the shape on that pulsar might sway me
I had 2 units of viper v3 pro before, and I returned it due to wobbly scroll wheel issue. Then I bought ATK X1 Ultra, it is a 1:1 copy of VV3 Pro and it works really great. so far it has been more than a year I am using this ATK X1 Ultra and never had any issues, plus the battery life is superb
Seems like they fixed the software problems with the XM2w that you mentioned, my wife bought me one for my birthday last week and it has no wireless connectivity issues and works in the BIOS.
The U2 looks really enticing. I recently got a ZA11-C (I don't mind the wire), and it's my first experience with that shape, and holy cow I've never felt a more comfortable mouse. My hands are almost as big as yours so I definitely might check the U2. Edit: Just bought a Xtrfy M42 on sale today to try it out with that rear shell swap
Based list man I see a lot of people enjoy the X2H. I've tried it but personally I think the X2 (mini) shape is in my top 1 or 2 shapes ever. Obviously they don't differ apart from the shape so it's nice. All the newer badges have perfect QC I've personally had two newer badges since my first one and they are flawless.
Great vid, not surprised to see V3 at top and Xm2w so high loving it atm - are you going to do a mousepad catchup? curious to see what you are using, Im trying a SP-004 foir the first time but think its rough on my skates interested to see what you have been using etc! Been enjoying my ULX though but man I wish their continuous stock promise would actually come true
Good video Badseed! My criticism is people with large hands hoping endgame makes a large variant, Zowie I hope they also plan to release their large variants , and pulsar I feel they go to medium and stop and leave people with bigger hands like me out. I need at least 125-128mm length. My favorite mouse was the s1 but always wish they gave it more length cuz it hurt my hands after use sometimes . Razer viper only one that satisfied the length for my hands.
I just bought the Attack Shark R6 on Amazon and after a week it's truly not a bad deal for the price, getting a lightweight no hole mouse with 8khz wireless. They have Kailh 8.0 for switch.
I recently got the Viper 3 Pro as I had a problem with the wheel on the Pro X Superlight. I'm disappointed in its battery life which seems to only last a few days, and it seems Helldivers 2 usually won't start if Synapse / the Razer services are running, but other than that it's a great mouse.
I gotta say I haven't purchased any peripherals in like 6 months, which is like a decade for me 😂, but I always love hearing your opinions on shapes and tech. We have a similar hand size and grip style, but I'll always be an ergo man at heart. The Viper V3 Pro is at the top of my list currently if it ever goes on an egregious sale, I'll cop one and probably fall in love with it. My personal top 3 are: 1.) Lamzu Thorn. This is the mouse where I lose it like you described with the Viper V3 Pro. It just fits my hand like a glove. No matter how I adjust my grip, it is just supported perfectly. 2.) Pulsar X2H. Just a god tier claw shape that doesn't get talked about enough IMO. Tempted to a try a mini. 3.) Logitech G303 Shroud. Weird shape at first, but it's just SO FUCKING GOOD when you figure out how to lock it in. Unfortunately ruins any other shape for like a week after using it for any considerable amount of time. Honorable mentions: ZA13, XM1r, Steelseries Prime
I have most of the “top mice” out there rn, the maya X has glued to my hand. This thing is fantastic. The shape is very similar to the viper V3 and the GPX but it’s lighter, and has a web based driver… if you know anything about synapse this is a big advantage… this thing has been awesome for my relaxed claw grip.
woo-hoo, so unique enjoy your product, there are like 10 other comments about it and i don't think Badseed is in any shape or form obligated to have it in his rotation. Its all about preference.
I run synapse for my basilisk v3 pro and blackshark headset and have near zero issues with it. It used to be terrible but its pretty decent now, little to no bugs, and doesn't take up nearly as much % as it used to.
@@DelScully I am glad it has been good to you! For myself, I am very interested in any opportunity to offload drivers/software from my system. Just a matter of fewer 'moving parts' to cause an issue or a memory drain in most scenarios. I have had some hands on experience with the Maya X as well and I can definitely vouch for its comfort and performance. Definitely worth the review that I am sure is otw from Brian.
I loved my Pulsar X2 OG until the scroll wheel started getting limbo jumping. I really wish Pulsar would switch to optical scrollwheels. I just switched to reputable Chinese clone mice since you're pretty much getting the same experience or better for a fraction of the cost. I'd like to see you review some from VXE or Kysona. They're really making waves in the budget lightweight wireless mouse category. I think a budget oriented series would be super nice since I feel a lot of us who don't have that much disposable income shouldn't be left out the conversation of great peripherals.
I'm always chasing the Endgame. I'm now waiting for the Zowie S1-DW since the S2-DW seems interesting but my hands are probably slightly too large for it to feel too comfortable. I love having a charging dock. The Endgame Gear XM2w Seems interesting but I don't see enough people using it/ have it to get a good idea of how it is or even many reviews on it.
Side buttons is my only gripe on my BeastX Mini. Everything else is basically flawless. My initial impression was that it looked and almost felt like a miniature toy mouse. But after using it for months, I am pretty impressed by that well-built little sh*t. On the other hand, my last two Pulsar mice (including X2H Mini) never should have left the factory. I've owned many Pulsar mice in the past and it feels like the QC somehow just gets progressively worse. Really disappointing.
No superlight/superlight 2/superlight 2 DEX in list.... Daaam! I'm lived for this moment! Thank you for such a good list! And I pre-ordered u2-dw and can't wait to forge it in my apex battles.
Only complaint is with the X2H is that some older models are still sticking around in Australia and I've had 2 X2H's die, one my mate bought, another I bought off of him cause he bought a G Pro X 2. Currently on the Lamzu Thorn.
I would say Kysona m617 is close contender weighing at 59g. At 1/4 of the price of these mice, it comes with a 8k dongle and bluetooth (2 BT devices can be connected and switched between easily with the dedicated button). 0 key wobble in the one I got. Bought it out of curiosity and switched from my Glorious model o wireless right after.
i just put in my rma for my deathadder v3 pro wireless as about a week ago my back thumb buttons switch broke off into the inside of the mouse. i was literally a week within the end of the warranty so i was able to get a successful rma. but now i kinda want to get the hitscan hyperlight. had to break out the old model d in the mean time. fortunately the shape is nearly identical to the dav3 pro so not much adjustment needed
i forget your channel exist a few months every year and when i find it on my explore page again i get suprised by the videos every time! keep it up, boutta binge a couple months worth of videos again xD
Currently really happy with my Vaxee XE love the shape and lower button height. But was looking at that Hitscan Hyperlight it looks very good, mainly full shell and very low weight along with good shape, though not in a rush for a new mouse. Also looks kinda smaller, don't want smaller than XE mouse. Anyway, to me it looks at one of the better mice so far though, as far as symmetrical shapes and similar price. Personally I avoid hole design and "drop" stuff, I'd argue those are not even best shapes and price not worth it vs alternatives.
No ergo mice on the top? :( what do you think it's the best? I have been looking for pulsar ergo mice like you suggested, but I would like to know what do you think its the best right now.
Will you be reviewing any custom keyboards for like an end of year review? I know HE took over the enthusiast gamer market, but the custom market has had some fun boards come through this year too
Shape is the most important thing once you're sub 60 grams imo and I think you hit the nail on the head. I can't use anything lighter than the viper v3 pro
Love my Maya - it replaced my launch GPxSL when the scroll started having issues. Only thing it needs is a better battery life, guess I was spoiled by Logitech's battery life - still charge it once a week-ish.
Wl beast max def my fav release of this year, so wild people thought the company was a scam at first lmao now it’s a great finalmouse alternative. Always my fav videos by you brother, good stuff! 🔥
I'm also a Superlight Pro X owner and I just upgraded to the Logitech G PRO 2 Lightspeed Wireless, it feels way better in every way, and best of all, it has optional thumb buttons on both sides, not just on the left one.
Pulsar H2H and H2V2 are so good. I own both and just bounce between the two. Haven't touched any of my other mice seriously because they don't feel right anymore.
Having tested all the mice here and some more i've gotta say the Maya X and the OP1 8k are still my favourite, currently testing the Hitscan Hyperlight but i think it might be too light for my taste. Still a solid mouse if i would have to choose a 3rd place, 4th would be the XM2w 4K because the OP1 is simply better imo and 5th would be the Viper which i've started out this year.
I have large hands and the Maya X was just too shallow on the grooves for me to get a consistent grip. Its also has a lower hump than the v3 pro. For me the Maya X just felt like the safer shape of the v3 pro
I wished you could have posted this top 5 list a bit earlier. Especially on the top 5 headsets hahaha. Anyway nice review! Looking forward to other videos
For anyone thinking of getting the U2. There is also a new version of the U2 coming soon. Better side buttons and better shape. They are listening to feedback. I would grab the new one!
p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l p-r-e-f-e-r-e-n-c-e he is not obligated to have your preferred stuff in his top5 just to affirm your purchases, if you like them, thats all that matters.
@@3ildcard dude im not saying he should. im only stating that the mice ive listed are very very good at their category and should deserve a spot at least.
@@David-n8n9i i think g305 is the best mouse ever made, i demand you have it in your rotation, it deserves it. see how stupid that sounds? also, maya x is not far off vv3/gpx and he has vv3 in his top 5 so if you look at it from that aspect, it once again makes no sense
I'm someone who much prefers the Logitech g604 upgraded from the g602. It has the necessary amount of side buttons while being very comfortable and ergonomic but it's a shame that Logitech just doesn't ever seem interested in continuing these mice and so far i haven't seen a single mouse from any other manufacturer that comes close to them.
I hope you do update the Viper V3 Pro haha. The latest firmware is from September and it fixes a few issue. Been loving this mouse ever since I got it. Really is the best currently.
What's your suggestion for a relaxed claw grip? Using the Logitech superlight pro, the size is good but the shape just feels awkward in hand (like I'm hovering rather than holding it due to no hump). I don't care for lightweight as some weight for control is nice since I use wrist. I think the XM2W, X2H ES, or the Maya X (most hyped). Similar hand size.
I use relaxed claw. I would skip Maya X - its gonna be the same grip issue as superlight pro. X2H ES or XM2w should get you right w the ES being more on the control side for weight.
Where's LAMZU Maya X? Woah! I do that! I do that side tilt thing that Razer made a setting for! I find in hand comparisons my thumb's joint is very angled, to why i think my hand naturally does this. Also the ability to detect full screen applications to start using a higher polling rate is genius! I hope other companies do this and theirs no patent to stop them.
A little late to the party and good video! However, while I understand mice are a very personal and subjective topic, I found naming the Viper V3 as the best mouse a little bit disingenuous when the OP1w 4k and OP1 8k by Endgame Gear exist. While shape is definitely different, the EGG mice just offer (imo) better build quality for less money and a much simpler and less annoying software solution. On top of that the OP1 8k is not only moddable very easily (even comes with tools to do so and is therefore encouraged) but EGG also provides stuff to mod directly on their site. This does include a variety of switches to experiment and personalise however also potentially increases the lifespan of these already cheaper mice by a lot (altho the lifespan of mice are quite long so a minor point). Also the stock GX switches they developed with Kailh feature some new and bold tech with their "GX Speed Mode" resulting in by far the lowest latency for switches on any other mouse. Again, while most of this is just extracting 0.01% more "gamer mode" or theoretical advantages on paper but not noticeable by the average person, in the context of half the price of the Viper (for the wired OP1 which btw has an exceptionally great wire that is basically not noticeable) I just feel like this shouldve been mentioned
Awesome video! I definitely need to upgrade my viper ultimate it’s getting worn. I was thinking about trying the mz1 but might give the pulsar a try. 👊
i was VERY close to ordering a Pulsar when i just happened to stumble into a best buy like the day the V3 pro dropped...needless to say the white V3 pro has been on my desk since lol.
Just got the vxe r1 pro that's gonna replace my razer viper(didn't even know there were newer versions till a couple months ago). Haven't really tried it yet, but after using the viper, having onboard memory, web-based software, and not having those absolutely disguting rubber sides it's already a lot better. I generally prefer the mice having a decent weight to it. Not like g502 heavy, but ultralight feels like a gimmick. VXE R1 pro is a bit on the lighter side, but maybe I'll just get used to it. For $32 it feels good enough. Also bought a vxe r1 se cuz it was like half the price, but it'll be a while before I can physically try it out for reasons. I aint spending +$100 on a mice. For that price I could get 64gb more of ram or something.
I like the small ones I bought cooler master mm710 two years ago and i have been looking for a new one but idk if it would give me the same feeling in my hand Dude i feel like this mouse was made specifically for my hand so idk what to go with 🙃
Hey Badseed Tech, could you please let me know what and where you got those Wood/black stripes wall background? I have been searching for these for a while now.. Are they just decoration? Sound panels? Where did you get them? Please let me know!
I would like to try out the u2 for it's shape, but only if it came in a x/small version and 50gram or lighter! But it does not look like Zowie is interested in a small version, let alone a sub 50gram mouse!
I own a keychron m3 metal edition and love it, got it for 100$ and it comes with a 4k polling dongle (but I dont use it since my cpu suffers) great option and it weighs like 64g
Alright I guess I’m buying a Maya X

Still using and loving the Viper Ultimate, even after 4 years!
Literally the best 2024 mouse. I've no surprise at all, expected to see this.
This video is Perfect timing. I’ve been looking to get a new mouse for Christmas. Still using my super light pro x from 2020. No idea what to get.
I'm also a Superlight Pro X owner and I just upgraded to the Logitech G PRO 2 Lightspeed Wireless, it feels way better in every way, and best of all, it has optional thumb buttons on both sides, not just on the left one.
Is the Viper V3 Pro a worthwhile upgrade from a Pro X Superlight 1 (or however its name is at this point I admit its too much for me ;d ) ?
Pulsar H2H and H2V2 are so good. I own both and just bounce between the two. Haven't touched any of my other mice seriously because they don't feel right anymore.
Right on time for the holidays
Is there a favorite when playing shooters, fighters,or RPG’s?
Having tested all the mice here and some more i've gotta say the Maya X and the OP1 8k are still my favourite, currently testing the Hitscan Hyperlight but i think it might be too light for my taste. Still a solid mouse if i would have to choose a 3rd place, 4th would be the XM2w 4K because the OP1 is simply better imo and 5th would be the Viper which i've started out this year.
The Battery on the Hitscan is really good btw. if my battery indicator isnt bugged while the Maya is in need for a charge every 2nd Day :|
A Zowie S1 would be an instant buy for me and I haven't played a game on my PC for a year and a half.
I have large hands and the Maya X was just too shallow on the grooves for me to get a consistent grip. Its also has a lower hump than the v3 pro. For me the Maya X just felt like the safer shape of the v3 pro
Great Vid as always. Maining an Incott G23 and a Maya 4k. Would love to try the Maya X one day.
I wished you could have posted this top 5 list a bit earlier. Especially on the top 5 headsets hahaha.
Anyway nice review! Looking forward to other videos
The Feinmann is absolutely crisp.
I have the original RVU years ago and liked it so much that I got a couple more. If I could make it silent it would be perfect
For anyone thinking of getting the U2. There is also a new version of the U2 coming soon. Better side buttons and better shape. They are listening to feedback. I would grab the new one!
The Maya X and M3K and some fingertip mice could've gotten a spot in my opinion.
However pretty nice rating!
As a MK3 user I very much agree. Its my number 1
p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l p-r-e-f-e-r-e-n-c-e
he is not obligated to have your preferred stuff in his top5 just to affirm your purchases, if you like them, thats all that matters.
@@mattm5826 it surely is up there. my dream mouse, the carbon just makes it look so professional
I also heard about click latency for the U2?
5. Wlmouse Beast X Max
4. Zowie U2
3. Endgame Gear XM2w 4K
2. Pulsar X2H
1. Razer Viper V3 Pro
Thank you
Big respect
Its literally in the description
I'm someone who much prefers the Logitech g604 upgraded from the g602. It has the necessary amount of side buttons while being very comfortable and ergonomic but it's a shame that Logitech just doesn't ever seem interested in continuing these mice and so far i haven't seen a single mouse from any other manufacturer that comes close to them.
I hope you do update the Viper V3 Pro haha. The latest firmware is from September and it fixes a few issue. Been loving this mouse ever since I got it. Really is the best currently.
Would going with the DeathAdder V3 pro also be a good choice over the V3 viper
If you want a bigger mouse than sure otherwise no
Thanks for this vid. Some great mice you've picked. I really enjoy your take on products. Woof.😊
I'm still on my trusty xtrfy mz1 wireless. Haven't found a mouse yet that fits in my hand like the mz1.
Number 1 actually starts at 13:41. It had me confused at first when I skipped to that chapter.
Viper V3 Pro is my current main on my desktop, I switch to my Pulsar X2V2 occasionally. On my laptop I use all Logitech, using the Pro X Superlight 2.
Vxe R1 for me is the best budget pick. 30 bux off AliExp. 3395 sensor, nice weight of 52g. Shape is also very nice for me
What's your suggestion for a relaxed claw grip?
Man that last line hit and is so true
An entire video about generous curves and thin middles, my man!!
Razor death adder v3 pro is my ultimate favourite mouse love the size and shape for my larger hands
Again, while most of this is just extracting 0.01% more "gamer mode" or theoretical advantages on paper but not noticeable by the average person, in the context of half the price of the Viper (for the wired OP1 which btw has an exceptionally great wire that is basically not noticeable) I just feel like this shouldve been mentioned
i have the 8k engamegear op1
I dont care for wireless more stuff that can go wrong and more waste in the end
Been using the viper V3 for months and it's been great since
Awesome video! I definitely need to upgrade my viper ultimate it’s getting worn. I was thinking about trying the mz1 but might give the pulsar a try. 👊
Bro... I just bought a dang mouse and was looking for good reviews. I wish this came out 1 day earlier.
i was VERY close to ordering a Pulsar when i just happened to stumble into a best buy like the day the V3 pro dropped...needless to say the white V3 pro has been on my desk since lol.
I like the small ones
I bought cooler master mm710 two years ago and i have been looking for a new one but idk if it would give me the same feeling in my hand
Dude i feel like this mouse was made specifically for my hand so idk what to go with 🙃
Maya X? Sora V2? OP1 8k?
My only with Razer issue is the random freeze for a sec or two
Thanks for posting this video.
Hey Badseed Tech, could you please let me know what and where you got those Wood/black stripes wall background?
I have been searching for these for a while now.. Are they just decoration? Sound panels? Where did you get them?
Please let me know!
Wood Veneer Hub. They’re both for decor and for sound dampening. They’re laminated wood slats over heavy felt backing
That beard is top notch 😊
I would like to try out the u2 for it's shape, but only if it came in a x/small version and 50gram or lighter! But it does not look like Zowie is interested in a small version, let alone a sub 50gram mouse!
How about the vaxee outset ax
How good is it compared to these in the list ?
Maya, Hitscan or Viper 3 Pro?
I own a keychron m3 metal edition and love it, got it for 100$ and it comes with a 4k polling dongle (but I dont use it since my cpu suffers) great option and it weighs like 64g
Timestamps are a bit off but solid vid!
