👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 you know how to braid. Back in the day we never used nail glue or knotted ANYTHING. That’s new to me. Braiding with edge control is new to me too but I understand it’s a moisturizer. I still don’t understand why it’s put on the scalp. I feel like edge control creates buildup on the scalp. Have you found that it does

Oh thats Lauren I don’t know where you’re from luv but I’m a FULLY grown woman. I grew up in philly in the 90’s and never had anyone use nail glue nor had I met anyone who used it. Further, I was a braider in middle and early high school. When I was a young burnt ends and micros were popping. Then we started the long individuals with “krinkly” ends. You braided the hair and dipped it in boiling water. The braids were braided down far past the hair and they did not unravel. NEVER seen the Africans use nail glue either.

@@laurenlocd3180 I did my own and it was easier than I thought. I just put in two pieces of hair per braid to make the process go faster. It took about 3.5 hours.
I had the hardest time with the parting. By the time I finally gave up my scalp was sore and red. I was defeated😩😂
Can I use the freetress beach wave hair to do the whole knotless braid instead of using the expressions hair?

Great question l forgot to add that in this video!!!! 5 packs of the 3x run braiding hair. Please note that the braiding hair runs less in the package for such a big packaging. 🤦🏾♀️ last, two packs of curly crochet hair. Hope this information helps. ❤
Can you swim in these braids without seeing where the real hair ends?
I LOVE the look. My ONLY concern would be the take down because my REAL hair is 18 inches long. 🤔

Couldn’t you just make the braids very long and put a curler on the ends and just dip in hot water???? To cut time.
Hi, yes You absolutely could, however that wasn't the look we were going for in this video. There is a difference, with doing the method you've suggested vs my method. Why I say that is because with adding in the hair at the ends we get a much more softer wavy hair texture with a nice finish which is the look we wanted for this style. So it would pretty much boil down to each persons preference. Thank you for your feed back

These are not goddess braids these are box braids 😩
Any braid or twisted style with wavy hair or curls added to the end is why the style is referred to as "goddess " so these are indeed goddess box braids

Goddess braids are box braids with curly ends. They're very pretty.

Back in the day they would call the large inverted corn rows braided into a ponytail or bun goddess braids.
