Great video! Traitor 😂 lol!
Love the sarcasm.
The learning curve of what to buy has always been painful.
Thanks
thanks traitor! appreciate the feedback hahaha
This video is spot on everything thank you. And the 2s goggle battery is a must. So you dont use a battery you plan on flying with later down the line since it wont fly having it charged up for too long.
Yup my 5200mah batteries last forever
Thanks for the full break down on what gear to buy!
Really informative😊👍
thanks for watching, hope it helped or at least made you laugh once haha
@@volaertus Both!😂👍
Love your content , can you make a video on what to look for if you want to fly long range all the components.
Will do but it's going to be a while because we have lots in the queue!! Thanks for the recommendation
do you recommend the radiomaster pocket as a budget controller?
Looks like a lot of nice spots to fly out there inTexas.
not really, there's a bunch of cows in the way
I just wanna know if the new walksnail X goggles are gonna be worth the investment with their future proofing technology. I bought them Dji race edition goggles with the idea they would work with every Dji product there after. Needless to say. I’ll never buy Dji products again.
God damn I’ve wasted so much money and time on this hobby, and I’ve had Zero regrets. Frustrating, absolutely, tedious, you bet, but once I’m in the air, none of that matters.
It sure would be nice to point new people interested in the hobby in one simple direction. It’s the most complicated hobby, quickly thins the heard.
the meditative state you get into when flying is literally like drugs and that's what makes it worth it, plus in the near future more and more jobs will become available and they will pay juicy salaries. It is my belief that aerospace/aviation is about to become the big tech of fat salaries in the next 2 decades and we in the FPV hobby are front and center ready for them
Spot on replys!
@@volaertus I’ve noticed similar trends and also a major shift in public opinion on drones. Not so many people are fearful or upset when they see me flying, which wasn’t the case a couple years ago.
I enjoy flying so much, I just want the world to see how amazing everything is from the air.
Love your videos, they make me laugh.
Happy flying bud.
big things are coming! We will definitely be employing well qualified FPV people as our business grows so keep following our journey and maybe in the future you can make FPV or drones in general your career!@@PoodlehawkFPV
oh and thanks for the feedback, it means a lot and I definitely try to make learning fpv less painful haha@@PoodlehawkFPV
Great video mate very informative. Can you please help me with a Q Nobody seems to tell me the answer.
I am building a 3 inch drone as a beginner (using ur video to assist me) and I bought a 4CH FS2A AFHDS 2A Receiver many ppl have told me I cannot use this for drone build, is that true?? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
One of my first flights was the "long flight" directly in to the sun without gps enabled.
Almost a year later, i received a phone call. "i think i might have found your drone" a hiker found it deep in the woods a mile or so from where i was flying.
It had a busted arm but, threw a battery in it, duct taped the arm, the thing flys after living in the bush in canada for 300 days!!
It hangs on my wall now as I bought Phantom drone with an hd camera when i was hunting for weeks, for my lost drone. (Blade 350QX)
TLDR
Put your phone number on your drone with a sharpie if you plan to fly before recognizing the importance of GPS
I hope you can help me clear a doubt i have. I want to build my first 3.5 fpv and i want to confirm if i can run 6s on 2700kv motors and also 4s. Of course i will get a stack capable of 4-6s (35-40a) a friend is going to give me some old 4s batteries he doesn't use anymore but i wanna buy 6s eventually without needing to change much on my build. The specs on the motor do say for 4s-6s but i just want someone more knowledgeable to confirm i will be able to run either as long as my AIO or stack is capable. Thanks. Great video!
So flew a axisflying cineon c35 with an Rline 1550 mah 6s and when I tried to do a roll it just dropped out the sky. I lost control like if a prop had broken off but it hadn't. So I brushed it off and flew again however doing a powerloop it seems to just lose thrust and I crashed again. I'm using 2700kv motors which i normally fly on 1300mah 4s without any problem but i wanted to move up to 6s but I must be doing something wrong cuz I also damaged a brand new rline on my first flight. Someone please help guide me 😢. Are 2700kv not capable of 6s?? My esc has no problem since its anble to fly 4s-6s. Or is there a 3.5 fpv which I can use with both 4s and 6s. Or what motors can I use?
If you check the benchmark sheet on the motors it will usually say which S number they're rated for. That's the best and easiest way to do it. Wish it was easier to explain via words might need to make a video on it
