    if you have a 3d printer, check out colorfabb for the LW TPU. It would be great for the naked gopro! its almost half the weight. Its called Varioshore TPU. They manufactured it specifically for RC aircraft (mostly planes). You should get better feel and longer flight times by a touch.

    Your sir are a gentleman for sharing this insight, your videos are helping me up my game on fly throughs in general. I am really struggling with throttle control at slow speed though and I know its practice but even if I lock my left thumb and finger the drone still bobs up and down way too much, even with expo.

    • @AdamVenturesTravel

  • @codylerephoto

    Great video. I'll have to check out some of your work. I've noticed a fad of people doing FPV tours when really they'd be better off with a gimbal and mirrorless for better image quality. Well lit houses or houses with big open spaces definitely look cool with FPV.

    • @TRONCATFPV
      @TRONCATFPV  2 роки тому +3

      Agreed 100%
      Since building this business I've definitely seen my fair share of properties that would visually look better if filmed with a DSLR on a gimbal. I filmed a 900Sq Ft Condo a couple weeks ago that would have looked 50x better with a DSLR.
      I think the main thing that keeps realtors coming back no matter the size of the property is the fluidity of the camera and how it just glides through the house seamlessly. It's easy to follow and hard to lose sense of where you are when watching.
      My personal touch is having the drone go out a window to end the video and make it even more unique 👨‍🍳🤌

    Nice video, well thought out. For me, and for the drone side of my company where real estate vids are concerned, I will only fly FPV in a house that warrants getting shots that I can't get with a gimbal. And even at that, if the foyer doesn't have a balcony, or vaulted ceiling doesn't have a view overlooking a great room my Osmo Pocket 2 is going up on a mast. Now, that being said, COMMERCIAL warehouse, factory, industrial real estate, all day every day I will fly indoors.

    • @TRONCATFPV
      @TRONCATFPV  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks! I've definitely seen my fair share of residential properties that would look much better filmed with a DSLR on a gimbal. I think the main thing that has been selling the FPV for the real estate agents is how its one continuous take and really gives viewers a sense of where you are in the house. A lot of the real estate agents just like the fact that I end the video by going out a top floor window to show off the backyard lol.
      How do you like the Osmo pocket 2? I've been debating getting one.

    • @meechcreativellc
      @meechcreativellc 2 роки тому

      @@TRONCATFPV I had the original and now the Pocket 2. Love it. Helps for the close up counter top & appliance shots where the mirrorless on a gimbal could be a bit clunky. Definitely is a plus again for areas a drone can’t go but the shot perspective is there to be seen.
      And I totally get the continuous shot. I always try and tell the story of a property from arrival to relaxing with plenty of well intentioned speed ramps and whip pans 😂
      Best to you and your business!

      Lol, I do love my 5-blades on cinewhoops. I've just noticed they're SO much quieter but equally as efficient as a handful of triblades.
      I am on the fence about getting a 10 bones. I want one but at the same time I anticipate GoPro to announce a new camera in september like they usually do and i'm hopeful that they include a "bones" version as part of the cameras release. If they let me down i'll probably just end up buying a 10 bones.

      It really vaires per project and I normally go off of the properties square footage. larger properties obviously will cost more. If youre starting out, do a couple for free. It will be easier to sell to clients once you have proof of concept videos 👌

    I really love the idea of this for real estate videos but I have a question. Couldnt you get most of these shots inside residential real estate with a long gimbal shot? As long as your not going out windows and back inside or anything too crazy.

    • @TRONCATFPV
      @TRONCATFPV  2 роки тому

      Most of the shots inside i'm sure you could replicate with a gimbal but even then it would be difficult to have the same movement and consistent speed as an FPV drone. I typically use a DSLR on a gimbal for slower more detailed shots.
      The shots that go out the window and reveal the backyard are able to connect the interior space with the exterior and is one of the biggest selling points for real estate agents that I've noticed.

      @@ToastyMcNuggetLuvr thats not true at all… I’ve bumped many walls and objects and been totally fine. You fly acro for the most control. @@LZRFPV that doesn't make sense at all. You aren't doing Flippy floppy indoors so why not take advantage of angle mode? With acro, as soon as you start pitching down the drone is going to be very difficult to control that precisely indoors. Are you using some sort of special rates? I truly don't understand the whole argument of "you have more control" when in fact more control will just get you into MORE trouble.

  • @cryptoloser93

    why did you build your cinelog25 as opposed to just buying the complete? i noticed you used lower kv motors, is there a specefic reason for that? sorry for all the noob questions! great video by the way !!!

    • @TRONCATFPV
      @TRONCATFPV  2 роки тому

      I prefer building my quads because then I know exactly how it goes together (makes for easier repairs) and I can pick out the equipment I want. The motors are a good example. I usually go with lower KV because I've noticed significantly less motor heat than with higher kv motors, especially on cinewhoops.
      A big difference between my build and the stock cinelog25 is the Flight controller. Stock cinelog25 FC has only 20a ESC's while my build has 40a.
