The fast forward I was sure you’d get it that run then insta-death after you stopped the fast forward - had me lol. The entertainment value is great Ryu
"The intended strat is the top, you can tell by the coin trail." My man, the coin trail clearly shows running in when joey is on the right and jumping for a boost lol. Love it.
I admire Ryu’s determination. Rarely there’s a level he can’t beat, and he gives it his all even when he can’t. Couldn’t be me…I would rage quit so fast.
23:50 would have been an amazing time for the “bye have a great time” meme! Dude I’m so glad you missed it because I would have pissed myself because I already laughed so hard without it. Lol
The fast forward editing was great, really gives a good sense for how much work you're doing "off screen" just to get back to that point. I'd love to see more of that in future vids when you encounter similar levels!
The thing is of course is that that guy Knew the level layout. He used the hidden knowledge (the parts players couldn't see coming up) Perfectly to make it just as stretched out and disconcerting enough that you couldn't plan out ahead. And of course, the beyond Saint-like levels of patience you'd need (pretty much being a bot) to cope with doing it again lol. All in all, what a disaster. And maybe no Hidden blocks but he still used Spikes so it doesn't count lol! ^ ^
My take on that last level based solely on appearances: It looks like a _great_ level, in all honesty. Definitely a tough one, but I think the biggest issue it has is how unforgiving it is. It _needs_ checkpoints, but in terms of actual gameplay it looks pretty solid. I think the biggest problem spots are the twister (I don't know if I'd remove one spike block, increase the size of the platform, or both, but that jump is obscenely tight) and the Banzai Bill (one-shot platforms are terrible unless you can't end up back in that position, like if there was a pipe after it). I love that it is clearly a difficult level while not pulling any real bad design like hyper-precision or enemy spam, so its difficulty stands on its own. I would probably hate to play it, since it's definitely beyond my skill level, but it does a lot right. It stands out for honestly-earned difficulty. From that alone, I'd like to see more of what mald has to offer.
"This Path to Heaven is a ridiculously hard level full of unnecessary waiting, insanely tight and tense jumps, having a better time with your pet just to have to leaving it behind, one-time opportunities where a single failure will cost you big time... who would play that voluntarily?!" *looks at life* "Ohhh..."
6:41 that hat gag was great. 23:13 the most ironic statement ever 27:15 I thought for sure the fast forward signifies victory. Thank you for the laughs.
18:10 "The intended strat is the top. You can tell by the coin trail..." Actually, the coin trail is an arc that points at the platform with the twister on it. How does that say "go over the top"? It'd be one thing if the coin trail was going over the spikes, but it's clearly not.
i love your videos, i have been watching you like 2 years, never commented or what so ever, so i just wanted to say keep going with the good work of yours
Reminder: On that first level when the dry bones shellboat is dispensed by a pipe that means you can keep leaving the shellboat over and over again dispensing enough for 3 lives.
I love how you put on The Legend of Zelda hat on to hone in on your skills and then instantly died and threw the hat off your head! Lol This whole video though was really amazing bro, I really get excited when you post a video I watched you since the beginning bro, the quality of your videos is so top-notch you're still my favorite UA-camr
That "Path to heaven" level would've been actually pretty cool with the addition of at least one CP! But there is absolutely no excuse for the bloopers at the end! You don't want to make it to the top, after pain, sweat, tears, blood and your sanity, just to lose to a fucking blooper right on the goal!!!
exactly, at the very least a cp after the stupidly long intro part would have made for a much more enjoyable lvl. i mean i get the beginning, its fits the theme of the lvl, but seeing it once does it for me
18:45 ur just supposed to run from the top left and jump onto the joey platform when joey is going right then run under the spikes so you hit joey as hes completely right side. The coin trail is actually telling you to do that because that would put you in line to collect all the coins. Your way was wayyyy overthinking it. 😂😂
Still a garbage level though. 'Benevolence' doesn't mean you can make a massive winding level with unforgiving sequences and no checkpoints, that's just troll trash.
Look, I love the 3D World and other content but MM2 with Ryu is like coming home on a cold day with a warm blanket.
Straight out of the dryer
After I was done with classes I would always bring a meal home and catchup on his MM2 content
Cold day and a warm blanket with some hot chocolate. Classic Ryu video recipe.
Tru tru
Wtf
The fast forward I was sure you’d get it that run then insta-death after you stopped the fast forward - had me lol. The entertainment value is great Ryu
I just got to that part and it was just as glorious as you said XD
I had no idea what you were talking about until I came to that point in the video-- then it made sense.
This so much
This video is so epic! Thank you Ryu, I am crying of so much laughing with your pain hehehe
I laughed so hard!
23:12
Ryu: “At least I can see where I’m going”
Few seconds later: *dies due to not seeing where he was going*
"The intended strat is the top, you can tell by the coin trail." My man, the coin trail clearly shows running in when joey is on the right and jumping for a boost lol. Love it.
That drove me nuts, couldn't believe he never realized it
That's what I thought, but I haven't played any mario games in a while and figured I must be mistaken. :P
Thank you I was looking for this comment. I couldn't be the only one who saw it 😅
That last level face was hilarious. I imagined marv on home alone when ryu thought that blooper was gonna get him 😂
*Puts on Zelder cap*
Instant choke
*Takes off Zelder cap*
Comedy gold, man. So much lols.
15:40
The shell: is supposed to kill you while you run away in fear
Also the shell: becomes Ryu's shelmet
23:53 the joy on ryu's face when the thwomp returned was priceless
Did you even check the timestamp?
You know its a hard level when the color of the t-shirt changes 🤣
omg why didn't i notice that
One of those "time for a break, maybe a nap and a shower even" levels
Looks like he just took off the hoodie.
I admire Ryu’s determination. Rarely there’s a level he can’t beat, and he gives it his all even when he can’t. Couldn’t be me…I would rage quit so fast.
So would I man, but hey, he is the best
23:50 would have been an amazing time for the “bye have a great time” meme! Dude I’m so glad you missed it because I would have pissed myself because I already laughed so hard without it. Lol
The accidental comedic timing on the deaths is gold. I crack up everytime.
The fast forward editing was great, really gives a good sense for how much work you're doing "off screen" just to get back to that point. I'd love to see more of that in future vids when you encounter similar levels!
I feel pain...immense pain...just watching him play that level

k
dam 🦫 thats crazy
The other issue was the time wasting beginning section. No reason the level couldn’t have just started with the actual content
"This Path to Heaven is a ridiculously hard level full of unnecessary waiting, insanely tight and tense jumps, having a better time with your pet just to have to leaving it behind, one-time opportunities where a single failure will cost you big time... who would play that voluntarily?!"
*looks at life*
"Ohhh..."
“Seems pretty chill”
Then spikes and blowy joey shows up 😂
That level was a doozy damn
8:54 a VERY well deserved piece of the triferce
6:41 that hat gag was great.
23:13 the most ironic statement ever
27:15 I thought for sure the fast forward signifies victory. Thank you for the laughs.
“It is always a blowey joey” 🤣
That zelder level doe! 👏🏻
Imagine trying to play that first level with lag.
That last level would have been 5000% better if it had some checkpoints
@@DubberRucks That's the thing; that's precisely the Troll.
The ballbusting stage was actually great level design. I'm impressed.
When Ryu throws the hat down…. 😂😂😂
27:16 made me laugh SO hard, all the build up before...
26:41 the end to that sped-up montage almost made me spit my drink.
The pain of Ryu playing that "Getting over it" type of level was transferred into my soul.
Just wanted to say thanks for the Ryuvenge on that level. That was some good content.
18:10 "The intended strat is the top. You can tell by the coin trail..."

He was being more CarlBlind than Carl at that part!
@@spk1121 lol, true
That magikoopa shot at 24:20 would've been the most epic snipe of all time
Isn't there a tiny chance the shot would change the koopa to a power up? Epic cheese strat!
@@seattlekarim964 I hadn't even thought of that 🤯
the crane is always smiling. It's only when it's touching Mario that it starts really cheesin! He and Joey are definitely pervy creeps
i love your videos, i have been watching you like 2 years, never commented or what so ever, so i just wanted to say keep going with the good work of yours
8:43 That last swing at the end was intense O.O Whole level was a nail biter
Reminder: On that first level when the dry bones shellboat is dispensed by a pipe that means you can keep leaving the shellboat over and over again dispensing enough for 3 lives.
"Path to Heaven" on the 1 life hail Marie. Seems convenient
I laughed hard at 28:17... Thanks for keeping that in the video xD
0:36 You still need to complete the level from MM1
@27:52 this guy is gonna be so happy when he will see "ryuSMM" played it's level ^^
27:44 Oh yeah, por supuesto "divertido" y desafiante el nivel. xD
GG ryukahr ha sido divertido verte jugar 👍
I love how you put on The Legend of Zelda hat on to hone in on your skills and then instantly died and threw the hat off your head! Lol
This whole video though was really amazing bro, I really get excited when you post a video I watched you since the beginning bro, the quality of your videos is so top-notch you're still my favorite UA-camr
18:19 they needed me to help make hot garbage
Ryu changed his clothes at 26:10.
2:39 Tammy must be around 😆
That last level was insane! You showed your master skills again, amazing 👍
Ryu: "accidentally throw the spring"
Ryu inside: Emotional damage
I love Ryu so much. So entertaining, always.
That last level is friggin brutal without a checkpoint.
Never give up in life. Like Ryu doesn't give up on hard levels.
Been a while since ive laughed like this at one of these levels
When I saw the Zelda hat, I knew ryu wasn’t messing around anymore 😈
Edit: Nevermind
You accidentally put this into the super Mario maker 1 playlist
That level Path To Heaven was a masterpiece haha.
It would be funny to see some fan art of you flipping a table surrounded by bloopers.
06.46... laughed so hard man! 😂😂😂
That last level was so funny. The fast forward to the insta death. Intense blooper near death. Friggin mald.....
The level at 9:30 translates (roughly) to "Iceberg Coal Mine"
Nothing screams family fun like super expert runs
That hat didn't do the trick 😂 6:38
YAY~~ new content!! My boys and I look forward to watching your MM and MM2 daily.
Legend of Zelder 34: Lonk's Ball Busting
Last level had just as much tragedy and comedy as Getting Over It, even had a "snake" in the search for cheese haha.
At the end when the face cam goes away it's clearly Tammy beating the level for him, than he just crosses the goal
'Going to the bone zone' 🤭😬😅
I love that ryus content has evolved into no swearing so me and my younger brother can watch this with our parents in earshot and not get in trouble
Bloopers on wings are surprisingly terrifying
love the simpeflips easter egg
Should do some real multiplayer again. Always hysterical how toxic nice guy Ryu can be.
That Getting Over It level was brutal and delightful to watch
"At least I can see where I'm going" *goes off screen and falls
23:39 That pretty much sums up the level
dude the *TOO* hit different
I love how Ryu is on the stairway to heaven and is shouting it’s a miricale
27:15 is such an oof
That "Path to heaven" level would've been actually pretty cool with the addition of at least one CP! But there is absolutely no excuse for the bloopers at the end! I’ve never seen a run absolutely torch Ryu before. He got rekt 💀
Well, Super Expert is just, it does these things. Boring blind jumps, spike spam,, easy to tear away the lives off people's runs.
I’m concerned for Ryu’s mental health
???
One life hail mary, and next level is... Path to Heaven. Very appropriate, I'd say.
That Lonk level was pretty good. Nice to see Ryu facing a challenge!
i love when he gets crazy hard levels like this. just random crap someone built, different challenges every time.
21:40 this is what you call a getting over it level
18:45 ur just supposed to run from the top left and jump onto the joey platform when joey is going right then run under the spikes so you hit joey as hes completely right side. The coin trail is actually telling you to do that because that would put you in line to collect all the coins.

Me looking at a level thinking it’s borderline impossible
Ryu: It’s way harder than you’d think
......................................... 27:19 Oh dear!
The gateway to heaven is like Getting Over it but even harder lokz.
Every mistake puts you back to beginning.
I would have rage quit the Zelda level. 😂
"The balls are taking vengeance to my face!" #IambicPentameter
That last level teaches us the importance of checkpoints.
20:10 I'd have ragequit right there.
Wouldn't that joey part have been easier on that last level, if you had just ran straight through it from the left platform?
Yes. When joey was on the right. So easy and obvious
That last level was essentially Getting Over It with Mario
That intro had some real simpleflips vibes
The galaxy music really gave "Path to Heaven" some Perfect Run vibes
Paused this to set to 1080p and got the audio stuck in my head. "Hello everybody, welcome back to SOUP!"
That last level, man. I'd have given up way earlier. A table flip is definitely warranted.
That first level would be horrible with multiplayer lag
hit us with that SimpleFlips TOOOO
“the Wiggler squirted everywhere, that’s nice”
Path to heaven gives serious Bennett Foddy's Getting Over It vibes
I like how in the intro at 0:04 there’s bi colors in the background.
Bought Switch last week. Cant get enough of all the mario games. Thank you for the content
