I laughed out loud, hard, when after Ryu laughed and went through the door, he was presented with that ending. If I recall, since the start of Ryuvenge, this is only the second or third time he went unavenged.
Still waiting for him to finish the 12 midair level from MM1

I actually think that troll level WAS brilliant. Creative troll levels like this deserve respect.
It helps when you're not seeing the long running back through everything every time though.
@@Aeroxima difficulty aside, that' level gets a 10 for originality at the very least. I've never seen a troll level that doesn't kill you until now.

@@Aeroxima I'd think we'd all rather play levels like this than the same unoriginal muncher on the head, invisible block, funny spike troll levels.
The best part is the end, it did NOT require like a perfect executed one block jump… no troll with this quality suddenly asks that of the player. All he had to do was be patient and then walk through and win. Funny he was so tilted by that point he kept trying to just brute force a troll that obviously had an answer if he just tried to look for it, all trolls do. And trying to just beat the troll by doing exactly what it wants to punish you for is usually always a terrible idea. Great level tho!
I like the troll level, especially for an endless run. It’s easy to just soft lock a player and force them to burn through lives, setting up a reset was extra benevolence.
dunno why he didnt just stand next to the spring at the end instead of falling down 3 times.
@@arohk4415 He needs to time the duck jump with the spring in order to make it over the gap. If he tried to run to the right until the canon has dropped down, he can't jump over on his own, and he can't make the duck jump, if he tries to run back into the spring.
I think Arohk was talking about how there was a one tile gap between the spring and the cannon, and standing there would allow you to simply walk over the cannon after it falls, as it's just the right height to allow that, no duck jump required.

in the ending of that troll level, you just need it to wait in the safe spot between the spring and the cannon XD

ryu is that one character that is a pro but then strugles on putting cube on a square hole and insist on the tryangle hole and somehow makes it by forcing it :v

Im impressed with how the level was engineered.
It's put together like software or something. I'm just imagining all the "bugs" the creator must've faced, and figured out solutions to.
@@gandalf8216 😄 It _is_ software. But yea, the testing much have been on another level of meticulous. And the attention to detail and care is evident in all the colour schemes of the wall-texts (hints). Honestly it's a work of art.

Everyone's talking about the troll level but I loved Ryu's "What you wanna do is..." by the precision SMB1 level
It's not often i'm impressed with a SMM level, but that troll level was pretty impressive

The troll level was one of the best levels I’ve ever seen on your channel. You should have given it a heart. It was extremely creative and could have taken all 30 lives to beat but instead made it to where you could have a good time with it.
I've gotten conditioned into getting anxious whenever i hear "stage 1 30 lives"

Love the concept of no-skip friendly trolls, have been toying with the idea of a skip route for endless, choose to play or not to with no death in no-skip.

Most people play Eldin Ring for a challenge. Ryu plays Eldin Ring to get away from the troll levels
going into the last level i though there's no way he looses 20 lives in 4 minutes boy I was wrong
I laughed so hard at the second half of the last level.
Being honest; as 'garbage' as it may be - any Self-declared troll level should get the pass because at least they warned you lol.
But also honestly - the level was like the most well-crafted and intricate Pandora's Box ever. It really is a bit of a design Masterpiece!
PS: RIP to that poor poor level just after which felt the full smouldering, corrosive capacity of what is known as RyuPressedCheese.

I love how the music stopped on the ending troll until the instant you successfully trolled yourself. Like the level was waiting for it before hitting the Resume button. Great stuff.

The key to that first spike drop is to hold R, then just walk right. There is a weird thing where Mario falls differently in the Mario bros theme when walking off ledges while holding R.

Ryu playing super expert: nice troll level that doesn't eat lives, an easily cheesable level, a weird smb that was easy. Decent levels for the most part

just a giant anti soft lock level for a troll level. That was brilliant! instead of burning through lives your burning through neurons in your brain wishing to just be killed instead, reminds me a lot to the carl troll getting over it.

Ryu there's something you should know about pixel perfect jumps. It's called "The Magic Setup". I don't know how to do it at all but you should check this out. I saw Thabeast721 talking about it in some of his videos and it helped him keeping the runs stay on. The setup suppose to make you go through 2 spikes vertically and stuff like that consistently every time

Ryu, I made a fast-paced level you might like. Temple of Doom (because I'm an 80's kid 😉) MSV-QT3-81G. I'm not nearly as advanced as that troll level maker, but it's still fun.
What a weird mix of an actually decent troll level (good design, plus good for endless), with some actual good levels, and then that hottest of hot garbagio at the end

This was more of a puzzle and less of a troll level. Definitely needs to be liked and more of this type would be appreciated.

Man, that last level! That nasty, horrible jump and then, after the door... wow. No words. Worse than Mario Sky Instructor.
The troll level had some interesting ideas, and I definitely appreciate the willingness to not kill the player, but I think that it would've been a lot better if it had a checkpoint- like, if all the resets after a certain point had gone to a new area, so you didn't have to do the whole level from scratch. I'm also not sure if Ryu did the end as intended, that's pretty unreliable for how the stage had been going so far.

The troll level was brilliant indeed, it wasn't the typical troll level that requires you to die numerous times to learn how to beat it (and even those are brilliant too if they're creative). That last level, the one with the blind pixel-perfect jump, however, was hot garbage

Ducking doesn't do anything when trying to avoid spikes in smb1, it only reduces your hitbox when trying to dodge enemies (for the last level)

You literally just had to stand one block to the right after you hit the block above you. Then the spring lands left to you, not hitting you, and the cannon that falls down on the right doesn't block your way, instead it becomes the bridge to walk over. You literally just had to stand there...
