Thank you for showing how to do those inverted corners in such detail. My mom described it over the phone but I couldn't quite "see" it in my mind's eye. This was very helpful!
I was actually looking for instructions for chair slip covers where the wood has notched corners as yours do here. There are tons of videos on seat reupholstery. With that said, maybe if you added "notched corners" to the description, people like myself could find it faster. Just a thought. My notches are only about 1/4" but this stills gets the point across. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for this video as I want to recover my dining chairs. It has a similar shape to yours. I can't find the self adhesive tape for covering the potentially fraying edges. Tried all the usual places. Where do you get it? Kind regards
@@SeppnShelleyDIY That's super Shelly thank you. In France so will order from amazon.fr Have assembled all the component parts, so starting today Thank you mille fois!
Very helpful video, thanks! Just a note that the music gets really loud and crackly at the very end and it's a real assault on the senses, but the video editing in general is pretty good. :)
Glad you like the video, sorry about the Musik, I'll try and edit it....but I don't know whether that's at all possible. The music on my later videos is better, the more I practise the better I get!
@@SeppnShelleyDIY I'm not sure you can edit now that the video is on youtube... you'd lose the views and likes you've had so far. I just had a look on another device and the same happened, at 22:01. Video editing is an art... You'll certainly get better and better with practice! The important thing is that you have a good pace of explaining things and making the steps clear, that's the most important thing, by far. :) All the best with the channel!
very helpful video and fun to watch. thanks.
