Thanks for the new video. I hope you and the baby are doing well. You look great !!! Now the exciting time begins! Take good care for yourself. All the best for you. Lovely greetings from cold Germany :-))
You should consider putting all your recipes into a book to publish. (Updated..i just noticed you have a Ebook!) I know most people are doing that these days but there are some people that just stand out and you are one of them! I've been following you for a while and I've used quite a number of your recipes. They are awesome! Hope you are doing well. You look radient!🤗
Thank you for this video!! I've been vegan for 7 1/2 years now and sometimes I get stuck in a rut with food depending on what season of life I'm in. Sometimes I tend to eat more convenient/processed foods because I get so tired or bored of cooking. It's so helpful to be reminded of the simple ways to incorporate more whole foods! Always gotta go back to the basics!
It's great that you consume oats, spinach and other plant foods. Today I heard a German doctor explain the importance of 'silica'. It's very important for healthy bones and skin but people don't eat enough food that contains it. They just concentrate on calcium but that is not really effective because the body eliminates artificial calcium (as in tablets) when we go to the toilet. This is a list of foods he mentioned, that contains silica and should be included in one's diet. Older people need even more silica than young people: oats millet sesame seeds barley lentils soybeans green beans bananas pineapple mango spinach radish coriander bamboo
Just watched this video on plant-based meals and I'm feeling inspired! As someone who's trying to eat healthier, it's great to see the variety of tasty meals you can make without animal products. Thanks for sharing your go-to meals and the reasons behind them - I can't wait to try some of these out myself!
Your video production is incredible. I loved the overhead shot when pulling the roasted veggies out of the oven. Cooking ideas are great too, of course.
Hello! SO glad you popped up in my feed. I LOVE your tranquil lifestyle. Please show tutorials for the dressings. You make wanting to become plant-based seem doable. New Subbie here!!! 💕
I've tried the roasted vegetables (I added red bell pepper) with hummus and curry today... It was amaaazing! So easy and really tasty. I'm looking forward to try more of your recipes :)
You're channel, your app, and blog are very inspiring. They are all about healthy balanced foods, lifestyle. It all seems so delicious. Keep making this videos please. 🎉❤🎉
Hi Alexandra, congratulations on being Vegan for 6 years.I was 3 years Vegan/Vegatarian(battle to stop with the Dairy)on 26 December.I have been following you for quite some time, you are such an inspiration🥰You are looking gorgeous💗 Will you be doing a Vlog on your baby's birth?
Love all your vlogs! We now only eat hummus based dressings thanks to you! :) Hope you had a very Merry Christmas! BTW love the cable sweater you're wearing - so cute! :) All the best for 2023! Hugs from Canada! :)
Amazing recipes. Will definitely try. Eating healthy is what I think everyday but somehow give up but hopefully with these easy recipes I'll eat healthy 😃 thankyou
I use to hate veggies too until I became a vegan. I love all these recipes. Thanks for sharing. I never thought to put frozen spinach in a smoothie. Great idea.
Now I gotta try harissa paste! Have u ever roasted veggies with smoked paprika? I’m currently obsessed thats how I roast potatoes with just smoked paprika, salt and onion powder. Also I’m experimenting with no oil so I don’t even add oil to the potatoes the spices stick with just the moisture of the potatoes themselves its pretty cool!
You are glowing girl!! Thank you for your channel and app which has helped me to eat healthier. I’ve had some missteps the past 6 months and feeling the negative effects so I’m recommitting to getting back to plant based and feeling healthy again!
you and me both. I've gained some weight back which makes me mad at myself but am determined to recommit to full compliance.... so glad the holidays are just about over... (0:
Good morning Alexandra. That looks absolutely delicious. Just like you, I like to start the day with a healthy salad, or something simple like some steel cut oats topped with some fresh blueberries. Happy New Year and thanks for sharing all your great healthy recipes!! . 👌😊😊😊
I'm not a huge fan of oatmeal but yours look so good. I've never tried blended oatmeal and want to try that soon to see if I enjoy it more than other ways. thanks for all those hummus dressing recipes.
living the good life is certainly showing - you look fabulous, yr skins glowing and the bump is growing. Happy Christmas/New Year to you ( soon to be 3)
Thank you for another inspiring video to go along with the recipes in your app (which I love!) I haven’t made recipe with harissa, so I’m going to try that this week. I might also make the warming chili since it’s pretty cold here in Boston.
I made the chili last night for dinner. Loved pairing it with the brown rice. We usually do tortilla chips with chili so it was good to mix it up. However, I was in a bit of a bind as I was following the recipe. The ingredients list included vegetable broth, but the video skipped over this step. So then I sat there pondering if it was a typo or a video editing error. 😂 I like to follow recipes to a T and I was left to my own devices on this one. I tried googling the recipe to validate myself, but when I found the recipe you published (I assume a long time ago) it was extremely different than this one, although the picture/name was the same. I ended up adding extra crushed tomatoes and then added the broth once I realized it was definitely needed. Can we get some clarity on this recipe?😂
Sorry, the recipe is always correct in the ingredient list! I forgot film when I added it. The recipe isn’t available online so it must be a very old recipe you found! The vegetable broth is very much needed yes 😊 the recipes I write in my descriptions are always available in the Fivesec Health app
Ok! Good to know when following future recipes. Thanks for the response.❤ My husband and I have enjoyed your recipes since going plant based. Thank you!
Thank u so much. I'm new to wfpb and love ur roasted bowl and curry dressing. Can't wait to try. Will add some tofu to mine as well as to the chili Edit: where do u get ur harissa paste? Peace and Love to u a ur new baby for the new year!
Thanks! I got it in a regular supermarket, I found it in a tomato paste section, maybe you could find it in a international section in your supermarket, it's basically a chili paste :)
Thanks for a great video - I was getting bored with having the same things all the time and this will help so much - especially the dressing ideas! Question - what are your thoughts on oils and fats? Dr Barnard (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine - PCRM on UA-cam) advises to limit oils (due to saturated fat) and to not go crazy on fats either. I used to ensure I had healthy fats each day but now I’m a little reluctant to use them after hearing Dr Barnard’s advice. Im keen to hear your thoughts. 😊
Thanks for your comment! well, I'm not a doctor but from my own research and studies (plant based nutrition at e-cornell) I think that oils don't provide nutritional value besides from extra calories, so when I use them it is only because they enhance flavours when cooking. The fat part, if you don't have health issues like artery issues I wouldn't think that much of fats. Especially when eating fats from whole food sources like avocado, nuts and seeds. I think balance and diversity is key aka don't go overboard with anything really, like eating peanut butter 3 times a day ☺️
Hi...i follow you for a while, and already tryed some receipes. They are yummy☺️. I haven't made harissa, can i use miso paste instead? I have it, and don't know how to use it?! Thank you🤗
Hi! Unfortunately miso paste wouldn't be a good substitute since harissa is a chili paste and miso is quite salty/umami flavoured. You could use sriracha instead but a little less :)
Hi Alexandra!! Merry Christmas, I have noticed that you are adding olive oil to your recipes lately. is it due to your pregnancy and you are going to change it later again? wishing you all the best, kisses from Greece!
Merry Christmas 💕 It really enhances the flavours and Pontus is a big fan of that haha so I cook with oil sometimes and sometimes not :) Otherwise I eat so little oil so I don't feel that it matter that much
Hmm.. either find a hummus without tahini or make a hummus without tahini. Otherwise I'm not sure, I would try the "cashew sour cream" in my app, remove the vinegar and then add the rest of the harissa dressing ingredients before bending :)

what can you substitue the banan with in the oats?
Hi I love watching your videos and want to go vegan I love to make your bean chilli but don’t know what spice you used thanks
Can you give measurements for the flour and seasonings in the blended oats?
Just add 1 cup plant milk, 1/2 cup oat flour and 1/2 banana. Then some chai spices (cinnamon and cardamom) after taste and mix it all up 🤩
