For those who missed the reference: Dunwich is a location around Boston that H. P. Lovecraft created for his Cthulhu-Mythos. Where old gods and cults are featured throughout.
One great thing about Kremvh's (sp?) Tooth is the legendary effect is a mod called "sacrificial blade". You can remove the mod from the weapon and apply it to any other machete, which also causes its blade to take on the crooked shape. For example, I found a staggering machete and slipped this mod onto it, which boosted its damage & added the poison effect. Just something to consider, at least until a guy finally gets to Nuka World & gets 'Throatslicer'.
I always hate when one of the settlements is in trouble because of raider problems at Dunwich Borers lol. So well done, but really makes you hate going there every time
The Stealth bobblehead is worth five of the covert operations books, a great find for stealth characters. I loot as many mining helmets as possible. I use them with my provisioners so I'll be able to identify them from a distance on the road.
I had no idea that melee weapon was down there in the hole. I've been down there but thought it was a dead end. Just goes to show you there's always something else. Thank you for showing us.❤❤❤
It can be switched out and added to any other machete. So, if you have a legendary Assassins Machete and add it to that you get both the additional damage plus poisoning on top of the Assassin effect.
Just to say that "Dunwich" is one of those words where the "w" isn't pronounced (not sure why). So, it's actually pronounced "Dun-itch". As people have said, it references Lovecraft's story "The Dunwich Horror", Dunwich being a location. The various Lovecraft references in Fallout 4 are great fun. :-)
I've always wondered, and this seems like the channel to ask on, what the Dunwich building in Fallout 3 is like without the Point Lookout dlc installed
Roughly the same. The focus is still the one guy's descent to madness. Even the other guy besides the Nuka cola lady at Girder shade warns you against visiting
If you come here at 20+ level...the gouls will give an armor that increases your movement speed by 10%...at least in my experience. 🍻 The tooth wasn't as good as my tri-hook I had at the time..as in my hook did 3x 42dm+ 10% chance of 100 electric dam while block, vs 39+ poison...so I sold it...😊... Before I started any standard quest... Man I love this game...
Awesome guide ! I had multiple playthroughs and never noticed the novice-locked gate at the beginning (inside) and never turned left at the end for the quicker way back up and out using the elevator ! By the way, I guess you used console commands to make enemies not attack you and remove the water ?
##Glitch warning## I am playing this on XBox and have found what seems to be a glitch. I have cleared the area of everything that I can find but now, when coming to exit back to the commonwealth, I am killed by 3 Enclave (sometimes I get to VATS but more often than not I am fried instantly). I can find no way around this. I overwrote my save when I was in the Borers too so looks like my game is Fubar. Just a cautionary message folks.
This place confused me I was like why am I like teleporting or sum 💩 and there’s a ton of withered ghouls and legendary ghouls I wasn’t prepared for that 💩😂
Can someone PLEASE help.. My playthru the mine was only ghouls! 1.) Anyone know why that is? 2.) more importantly did I MISS ANY DIALOGUE with the workers? Again I only saw ghouls..

I put mine in a tuxedo and naval officer hat.
Really was one of the creepiest places

The Batman approach is best.
Who else can bring justice to the Commonwealth, if not you?
"Joker, why did you drop a bomb on Boston, Massachusetts? Your evil knows no bounds!"
"Haha SOCIETY!"
First time you go there it gets pretty creepy & quite scary
Actually there is also a Deathclaw in there so its really dangerous, and those shakeing's

Haven't checked that out myself! Hopefully someone can answer that question, there's always one! :)

One of the most memorable places in the Commonwealth.
Nicest prewar corporation:

I would be way better if the fov wasn’t so low. Raiders be right in front of me and I can’t see them

Where are the keys for the last door ?
Hi I want to know how you get the holl with no water in the holl
on pc it's a command called 'tws' :)
I’m in power armor I don’t think I can go in there
Take it off before going into the water
How did you remove the water?
the 'tws' command on PC :)
I'm on PS4 and just swam to it 👍
I dont understand this game why are the same people attacking me but he can walk freely?
AI turned off for the video guide :)
@ThomasXplores oh yea, sometimes i see clips where the same people who attack me randomly are not hostile to some clips
How do I get out of
You can't if in power armor, just reload the last save and go do without your armor :)
One of my favorite places in FO4. It's amazing how fast you can get through it when you not having to fight all the enemies. 🤣🤣
