I've adopted your build after running the Thrash build with you on your boss marathon. I'm glad I did, because I'm taking down foes much easier! Thanks for the build :)
Thanks for sharing. I love the rake skill. And the aspect for it makes almost a ranged skill. Really fun to play. I was truing to adapt all the details from other builds to rake. And your guide just make the details clear for me.
Really looking forward to trying this build as I used a rake leveling build to get to lvl 60. In your previous video you used the Menagerist glyph on the Sapping board but on the build site it shows the Hubris glyph. That change wasn't mentioned in this video so just wanted to verify which to use. Thank you!
Hey man, Thanks for the kind words and glad you're looking forward to it. Yes the Hubris is correct. The reason for this is at level 100 it has a higher magic node % than the Menagerist glyph and because of the Rod of Kepeleke bonus is means the extra maximum resource gives us more damage increase than the 12%[x] we get from the Menagerist unlock bonus. Also the Vulnerable [x] damage is more useful than the Incarnate Skill [x] bonus. Hopefully this helps!
Hey man, So the Harlequins just doesn't feel better than the Loyalty's Mantle and the Jaguar Primary is where a lot of the big damage comes from. I can test it but I suspect it won't make it better.
Pretty sure your planner would be higher DPS with an orange helm and pants both with resolve stacks. For speeds could run a shaco for hunter cooldown. The max HP and skill ranks would be higher damage and still have cool-downs for skills.
Hey man, Hmmm so my p300 version uses an orange pair of pants because it also uses the shroud of death which is easily best in slot right now. As for the helm, maybe with an extremely good one it would be better but that would be at the cost of cooldown reduction of course. I tried the Shaco and it was 100% worse than the loyalty mantle. The doubled up primary jaguar damage should not be underestimated as that’s where the main damage comes from. Hopefully this helps!
For HUBRIS Glyph, do I need to reach the requirements for the THORN damage, because I didn't put any strength point, I feel like is unnecessary to reach the requirements
Hey man, No you don't. The reason we use that glyph over Menagerist is because the magic node scaling gives more returns on maximum resource which gives more multiplicative damage increase than that of any other glyph. I hope this makes sense!
Hey man, There are some cool Stinger builds out there for sure but I actually find this build to be faster for clearance once you get it going and get used to the play style. Either way it's a super fun build to play and at least uses one different piece of gear ot most other builds in the helm! Glad you enjoyed it.
Hey man, Nope, you can use your skills in any order but I normally choose to engage with the Hunter ultimate and use ravaged and armoured hide together to ensure permant utility uptime. Hope this helps!
love to play Rake as well so thanks alot about the video. but I’d love to know what’s the widget at top right corner showing FPS GPU LAT? seems pretty neat.
Hey man, Glad you enjoyed the video! So that's part of the NVidia Geforce package and is an option you can turn on which is pretty useful. www.quora.com/How-do-I-use-FPS-counter-in-GeForce-experience This above link should help!
Hey man, So in this case the heir of perdition crit chance would be useless because the Rod of Kepeleke guarantees critical strikes when at full resource and the Ring of Midnight Sun + enough Resource Generation across the build leads to a cycle where you crit with the RoK, expend all Vigor, the Ring of Midnight Sun refills your Vigor 100% because of the crit, and thus you end up critical striking nearly all the time, if not all of the time. Also, the double up on the Jaguar primary damage should not be underestimated, it really is very strong. I hope this helps!
Hey man, Sorry for the late response. So it doesn't matter too much but +Rake Skills will allow you to get higher ranks than +Core Skills will. Both are viable though and will allow you to get to a decent level of end game! Hope this helps.
Hey man, this may sound like a stupid question as I have clearly missed something but what’s with the overpower tempers? Where am I utilising overpower damage? Thanks in advance
Hey man, Not a silly question at all. So the Banished lords is pretty much guaranteeing an overpower every hit due to the Rod of Kepeleke special aspect spending all of our resource and the Midnight Sun regenerating our resource in full every hit. We only need 275 - Rake initial skill cost which is about 240 maximum resource to guarantee an overpower each hit in this case. Hope this helps!
Not sure what I'm missing I had a similar build and swapped to urs.....but for some reason my barrier just ain't working. Not sure what I've missed 💀💀🤔
Hey man, Sorry for the late reply. So the barrier predominantly comes from the Que rune which activates the Druid Earthern Bulwark ability, and this is connected to the activator rune which needs to spend 300% maximim resource before it activates it. This sounds high but when the Rod of Kepeleke spends 100% of your resource to do a big hit and the ring of Midnight Sun regenreates up to 50% of your resource straight afterwards, you want to get enough resource generation that you regenerate basically 100% of your resource every time you critical strike with the Rod of Kepeleke, creating an infinite loop of 100% resource spending. This in connection to stacking barrier generation makes it very easy to keep up the barrier at near max capacity. It's also very important that you stack a decente amount of maximum health and the barrier is based upon this. Hopefully this helps, if not let me know and I'l do my best to help where I can.
I'm doing something similar, just using a Glaive (it's a bit less defense and crit damage since you're missing 45% block chance tho, but you get a chunk of damage to elites instead, and I was just SO TIRED of 100% builds using a quarterstaff) and a mystic circle, which, depending on your ferocity stacks, gives you a chunk of damage in a big enough circle to work for most bosses. Picking Rampant Rake instead gives you pretty much 0 cost Rake without wasting a weapon slot for a Kepeleke (thus double roll for Wild Claws aspect). Double Gorilla for Barrier and more Resolve. But I'm not even done leveling this, so I have no idea how it will perform at 60 (kills any boss in Perdition so far in 1 second at most)... uniques are practically nonexistent before lvl 60. At this point I'm just looking for builds that don't give me a headache - I mean, my best spiritborn so far is a Thrash jaguar, but the constant teleporting all over the screen is so hard on the eyes... so now I'm experimenting with a rake jaguar and a scourge centipede (righteous fire-like). Then again I'm satisfied enough if I can do T2-3 with a build, I'm not really that much of a sweatlord to require billions of damage that's required for T4.
Hey man, That's awesome that you're playing your own version, interesting take on it. I'l be interested to know how it scales later on! I agree, the Kepeleke has definitely dominated a bit and my next 2 build attempts will not being using this weapon! I've tried the mystic circle aspect and it does a lot of damage but at the cost of utility, so it's always a juggling act and I like to try make well balanced builds that are easy enough to pick up and play for your average player who can get hold of the uniques, which is not too hard at this stage into the season. The Scourge builds I've seen look interesting too. Absolutely understand the teleporting all over the screen issue so I really hope this build works out for you! =]
Hey man, so the planner has a number of variants which defaults to the ‘standard endgame’ build. I am basically playing the ‘p300 endgame’ setup at P262 or so, just with some less points in the glyph zones until I get them. Hopefully you are able to find this and it makes sense? Thank you for making me aware it could be confusing. I’l try be clearer in future.
As for the overpowers, the Rod of Kepeleke has an aspect on it which means when you are at maximum resource you expend all resource for big damage. The ring of midnight sun as a result restores 50% of your resource when you critical strike that you expended in the past couple of seconds. Since we critical on the expending part, it instantly activates this ring aspect and with resource generation also bolstering this, it can lead to you gaining most if not all of your resource back straight away. The rod of kepeleke is bugged currently so it actually requires 275 resource minus the skills cost to activate the overpower on the banished lords as well as being further reduced by any resource reduction factors. Once we have close to 275 maximum resource we basically overpower all the time. Hope this makes sense
I just put this build on my Spiritborn and perhaps I'm not high enough Paragon level? I can't even do torment 3 anymore and I've got everything in your build the same way other than the required paragon levels. Could you tell me which paragon boards to focus on first? :) My damage output is non-existant and my armor is 267 lmao.

Hey there, nice video. Apologies if I missed it, but can you explain why you take Wild Claws over Moonrise? Wouldn't Moonrise be more overall DPS? Thanks!
Hey man, So the Aspect of Moonrise if absolutely a viable option and to be honest I haven't played around with it too much. With the Wild Claws Aspect however, although it doesn't do as much direct damage, it can activate twice each time you attack as it has it's own separate double hit roll from the Rod of Kepeleke, meaning if you have a high number on this you can end up hitting potentially 4 times each attack, and this leads to very fast activatings of the Jaguar Primary Spirit mechanic which is where the main damage comes from on this build.
