I just thought it fit best, but also, the mental imagine of him out of all people staying home to take care of baby MK while Wukong goes to fight is hilarious. Like in reality if him and Wukong teamed up to fight the whole ass country of Troy they'd be done in like a day. But I just thought it fit.
I started noticing how similar Wukong and Odysseus' stories are when I discovered Epic the Musical. It's a pretty good depiction of how Wukong felt about being stuck in heaven, then trapped under a mountain, then magically oath bound to go on the Journey to the West. The parallels between Wukong's encounter with a young Red Son and the Horse and the Infant did not occured to me, and now I'm kinda mindblown.
Honestly Red son as the infant was kinda the first character cast and the inspiration for the entire thing. I'm glad you liked it thought, Wukong was also a pretty natural fir.

Imaginen un fic donde luego de sellar a DBK, y tal vez porque por accidente también selló a PIF o el cielo se la llevó, Wukong cría a Red Son como parte de su reino 😵😵😵 Entonces cuando Mk consigue el bastón es gracias a otra persona, DBK es liberado y Wukong tiene que enfrentarse a cuidar a su sucesor para que no muera y arreglar las cosas con su sobrino razonablemente furioso por la verdad
For 0:50 I was a bit hesitant to use MK cause he's Telemachus, but I didn't really have anyone else and thought that it would be ok. Plus I knew I wanted to use that scene with Jin and Yin. For 2:54 it was just so much fun to make the Red Son scenes
