As a 17 year old I'm just mind blown of how beautiful this station looks, especially since it's 1969 compared to how it looks now. Happy 2024 New Year, btw
Also the R-44 prototype was displayed that year at City Hall plaza as well that year while the Lo-Vs and Q-types (converted gate cars) ran their last miles (with hippies on board) on pre-subway els. But the 42s were the kings of the road and roamed everywhere they could!
That’s why I prefer a bit more the R42 over the R40M even though the latter had a more appealing body style. Just imagine them running on all lines in their early years. It wasn’t until 1977 they were scattered across the northern division but still not on eastern division until the 80s. They did run on the LL in 1969 though before the arrival of the 4888-49xx R42 series
I love the progress your making in to the stations and misc you are just the reason you inspired all fo us. Thank you for giving the best 1960-1970 Content ever made!
Excellent video 📹 👏 👍 I remember it all very well in 1969. I was 5 years old and still have great memories of the mixed equipment on the D,QB and QJ trains. And the Rebuilt. R11s into R34s.
The QJ Train with the R42 Leading Mixed with R27s and R32s really bought nostalgia for me since iirc this consist was featured in your old railfanning video at Myrtle Ave Broadway, nonetheless well done
Nice work but one or two D trains of R1/9 cars included in this video would have been nice, since a few R1/9s were running on the D line during this time.
I Love it. But But The M.T.A Back The Never Mixed For Cars For Passanger Serivce. Excpeted for The R40/R40M)(R16/R27/30)(R36/R38)(R1-R9) And Thats Because Of The Breaking System And There Shape.
Blessed! Thy Holy Spirit IAM NTR Yahawah man this is very much pure ingenuity/innovation at the highest level although the Melanite brother wasn’t yet conceived at this particular time these scenes at of a memorable one indeed from the fleets being R27, R30, R32, R42 etc along with the old designations signs plus double letters so kudos for the artistic recreation of B Division (BMT/IND).😊😊😊😊

Beautifully done. Very realistic looking
Where did you get the trains in this video? I'm curious since they are really detailed and cool looking.

The mix-n-match styles were quite accurate for that time! Now only the nostalgia trains run like that. I sorta miss the mixed trains.
i love this. Amazing creation and not over exaggerated
Amazing Work. The rail joint makes the game even more realistic. Keep up the great work!
It was the airbrake release of the R42 I wasn't expecting to hear but they nailed it
Well done mate, was interesting to see a R42/R27/R32 mixed consist

You ever think you’ll reupload your older vids? Specifically the R38 D Bedford to Coney Island?
just me or did the shuttle train say 7?
That was the old BMT number for that route.
@OGR-42 where can we find the ild R42 you released

I see that you finally decided to upgrade to the R42 model.
Looks incredible!
OpenBVE is still updating and i really interested - is it real to simulate the camshaft control physics now?
