I don't mean to brag or anything guys but if I did a video running all my trains in this format like Chris did it would've only taken me like 2 minutes tops
Well, I’m not 100% sure how you can do it in 2 minutes or less. (If you have like say 400 locomotives) But do what you want to man, let no one stop you!
What a collection Chris! Check out challenger 3985, SP 4449, MTH I Love Toy Trains set, I love Lionel boxcar, Disney collection, like the WDW 50 set and Disney 100 set, plus other sets, like the great locomotive chase, Lionel Lines, and more! But Thomas is indeed, the little engine who can!
Chris it doesn't matter how many locomotives you have. The fact that each one you own has sentimental value means everything. You can't take it when you go so enjoy them. Great video!

Chris, awesome video and collection! It's neat to see the evolution of model trains from vintage to modern. They are all cool in their own way. Thanks for taking the time to put it together and share with all of us!
Seeing the frosty the snowman train run around that Christmas tree gave me nostalgic vibes from when i was a little kid seeing my first trainset run around a tree
Great video Chris, and well worth the wait! And I'll tell you, I really don't envy you all those engines, I envy you all that SPACE! That's it, NEXT house is gonna have a basement or I ain't movin'! Thanks for posting, it was enjoyable as always!
@@RBPTrainsI'm actually saving for the lionel super chief set. Any tips on buying it? You gotta answer this, because its your fault I want an O gauge train, lol. Where I live in Louisiana there are ZERO train shops within an hour of my house, so that's out of the question. So I'm buying online. Also, should I buy the set or should I buy different pieces separately? Thank you for your time.
You’re quite a unique person. A bit in the young side with an amazing love for steam. I’m amazed at your editing skills as well. Great channel I’m glad I stumbled upon. But this hobby is not usually inexpensive, especially in that scale. What do you do for a living, and are you married?😊
Great video Chris, it was definitely worth the wait lol. You really do have an amazing collection. Even though I model ho scale, I love trains of all scale
So every morning I wake up...I see my six year old son Calvin sitting like an old man (crossed legged in his tiny lazy boy) drinking his chocolate milk watching you! I think you found your number one fan😊
RBP, seeing all those trains a short time was so much fun. Thanks for your work. Did they all run when you put them on the track? What all did you have to do to get all of these to run?😊
Hey RBP, when you were running that “Blackbonnet passenger train” it actually has a different name thanks to a old K-line catalog from 2004 & it’s called the Midnight Chief. Just to let you know.
You bet! I had recorded a segment explaining the name of the passenger cars but cut it for time. Always thought that was a cool name "Midnight Chief". :)
I think TM Books and Video would love your layout and maybe it can also be in one of TM's future videos one day. (Just a suggestion of course) P.S Its a really cool train layout!👍
I had the opportunity to see the Norfolk and western A class #1218 over the weekend at the Virgina museum of transportation. I was also luck enough to see J class #611 which was there for the weekend.
Great to have you back. Hope you and your family are good. I always thought you had a Marx train set, maybe I'm mixing you up with another UA-camr. Anyways great to have you back making great videos
My favorite thing about the Vision Line 700E Hudson is that it has fully moving drive gear. Even the valve rod and valve stem move which is so awesome to see in motion, it's just like a real locomotive's drive gear! That's something generic legacy steamers don't have, only the combination lever moves on regular legacy models (and even MTH's drive gear isn't as realistic as the VL 700E Hudson's).
Thank you for sharing your engines and trains. And I appreciate the descriptions of the models. You have an excellent variety that span all era's and companies of O Gauge trains. Bravo..
great video Chris, I love all your trains but I'm partial to the 2-10-10-2 black bonnet Santa Fe but all your trains are beautiful. Thanks for posting this video.
I aspire to one day have a Milwaukee Road Hiawatha of my own. I love the colors and the way the observation car has such unique windows. Awesome train!
Amazing video! The return of the Halloween camelback was great, but that Chessie Steam Special may have the softest whistle I have ever heard on a Reading T1.
How big is your layout to fit the Lionell scale sets? I wanted to rebuild my HO scale set from my childhood. I am also into city scapes and probably build in N scale for that. But your set looks so dang good!
I have some ho scale nascar train sets only 6 of them they are diecast metal made back in the late 1990s by revel should have sent video didn't have time to do so they are earnhardt sr and earnhardt jr

Very nice Chris, I'm just getting started in trains and I'm 79 yrs old! I guess better late than never! Looks liks something for the grandkids to play with?😅
I kinda wish there can be legacy Thomas engines for us older fans of the franchise, Lionel could get tons of money doing that, they did it with the polar express anyway.
Great video of your fantastic collection, Chris. I think you should have at least one Marx train. Because Marx sold their stuff cheaper than everyone else meant that a lot more kids could enjoy the train hobby. But just because their items were priced less didn't mean they had lesser quality. In fact, they're quality, at least in my experience, is top-notch! I really like that their trains and accessories weren't to scale or accurately rendered, looking very toy-like, but I think that's the charm of Marx. Keep those videos coming. I love 'em!

Wow, over 140, and I have just one lol, someday.. granted, I'm new to model trains. Most of my hobbyist lifestyle has been with 1/24-1/25 automotive model kits. If I spent as much time collecting trains as I did kits, I might be able to brag lmao

Loved the video as always, but I would like to see you get an c&o M-1 steam turbine locomotive (originally built by the Baldwin locomotive works.)

This was a great video. keep up the great work RBP Trains
I have 42 locos (including multiple units). They are in OO gauge. This is especially impressive that you’ve gathered this many in O gauge.
Maybe Eric Siegel will follow suit with his collection! That'll take several hours to run them all plus hundreds of hours to edit it! LOL!
That would be a year long mini series! hahaha
Thanks Chris, I also enjoyed seeing different areas of your layout I hadn't really noticed before, albeit however briefly.
Wow so many flawless trains! Pretty impressive.

Question for the commenters and rbp if he sees it. When is the Lionel 2023 volume 2 catalog coming out?
Hey William! Not sure of the exact date but it should be out this summer.
Love your videos, RBP! Do you have an AC-12 (4-8-8-2) cab forward in your awesome collection?
Thanks! I do not have a Cab Forward as of yet. Maybe one day!

Thanks for watching! Yup, they are all functional. I had to add some grease to a few of them but they all powered up and behaved for the video :)
Wow Chris thanks for taking the time to put all this together great job!
