The world needs more films like this one! Phenomenal work by Ryder and Mario. We're honored to be able to help support such a meaningful and inspiring journey.
Muchisimas grasias. As a Mexican living in the US with a deep love for nature and adventure this means a lot to me. Than you for the work and support that made this happen.
This makes me want to go home to visit my family in Peru just to be with my elders. I’ve been depressed here in LA no motivation to even hike or get out.
Very nicely done Mario! It was cool to watch that cool trek through your eyes. It really made me appreciate my own dual identity love for the outdoors. I have been told that we are part Mayan and I would like to explore my own culture heritage as you have.
Amazing Brother/Carnal !!! Hawaiians were the first tribe to introduce chickens to South America, and South American vaquero’s were the first to help King Kamehameha the 1st by training Hawaiian warriors to be Paniolo’s (Hawaiian Cowboys) due to the fact the king of England gave several thousand herd of cows as a gift to the Hawaiian King and they were getting outta hand (Populating to fast) and wildly taking over the area the king placed them at. So Hawaiians became cowboys and to this day you have the great Parker Ranch on Hawaii’s Big Island. Meanwhile the vaquero taught and introduced to the Hawaiian cowboys the guitar (Possibly the 12. String also) who divinely started a style called slack key (Slye key style) which in itself when played on a twelve string sounds like an orchestra. I can see them now sitting around a fire playing guitars drinking home made liquor and singing both Hawaiian and Spanish folk favorites ☝️🤠(See Hui Ohana Hawaiian group) I’m so glad our cultures were there for one another. ML&Aloha Your Boy Kekoa&Ohana.🤙🏽🌈🌴🐓🐣PS I to am of Spanish decent.🙏🏽👊🏽Gracias!!
