Georgie Thumbs, that's actually a sign of respect and considered more manly. Also Freemasons shake hands by the wrist and depending on the finger position tells the degree they are.
I didn't know that. I use to drive a taxi in New York city for about 10 years and stopped doing it around 5 years ago and I picked up Bruce and his girlfriend or wife? The one new one, I picked them up at Columbus circle and when he got in he talked with this Russian accent, I guess cause he didn't want to get recognized and then his girlfriend got in and I took off and right away he said in that John McClain voice "Hey take it easy pal, my girlfriend is pregnant" and BINGO I knew right away who it was and said "Hey BRUCE" and reached through the partition to shake his hand and he grabbed my wrist then he blasted the air conditioner so I couldn't hear him. It was like instant cut off. I drove everybody on that job, driving a cab in New York city is the worst job in all of humanity, the pay is absolute shit like you cannot believe especially around July where you can take home 20 bucks for 12 hours work, no shit, but the celebrities I met is insane. You know Tom Clancy the writer? I drove him and I thought he was a bum as he was carrying all these bags like a bag man on Madison avenue. David Blaine, Mike Tyson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Paul McCartney, Michael Stipe, Drew Barrymore, Sting, I drove EVERYBODY, Manhattan is nuts when it comes to celebrities, they are all over the place. Oh yes, David Bowie, that's another one. I use to pick him up all the time, he took cabs like crazy from Lexington ave.
Georgie Thumbs that's interesting. iv only met one celebrity my entire life. it was Kim Novak about 14 years ago in eagle point Oregon. I went to church with my aunt and Kim and a male companion came in a little late and the only place to sit was by me. she shared her hymnal with me when it was time to sing. she had beautiful eyes and looked really good for her age. a friend of mine lived in NYC and she said she saw celebrities all the time doing totally normal things like having lunch. she met Liv Tyler at a spacehog concert and said she wore a ton of makeup and Adam Sandler and Janine garafalo.
Ridgely Sussman it’s really not man. When you punch someone usually there isn’t any sound effects or anything ;), and anyways if it was real they’d be bleeding a bit already. Or a lot.
Stephen DID NOT call him a liar. He said, "I find it hard to believe". My question would be, "How can anyone tell?" My way of seeing it is to see if it is easy to see that it is actually B.W., or if his head is turned away. Also, there are almost always stunt people in the credits, even in a few movies I have seen where I wouldn't call anything I saw a stunt. I do have to say, no real glass is used in any movies it is a form of sugar and if a person falls there is a pad or mattress on the floor, as well as no real contact with slaps or punches, in most cases. and the sounds are added later,
I'm 55 and I do all my on stunts. Only problem is their all unintentional.

well yea it was cut and edited. unless it was different cameras starting and stopping at different time and angles so it can technically be called "live" either way great job
Would have been even funnier if they showed Colbert and Willis watching their stunt doubles at the end.
That would've been epic!
WOW This was hilarious! Great acting and choreographing. Thanks for sharing.
Hey no problem
Was not expecting this. It was hilarious. One of the best skits on his shiw so far
the best part of this is 2:08 "that's what *I'm* talkin' 'bout, Willis!"
No at 2:30
Bruce's stunt man was Dr. Phil.
A reporter once asked Roger Moore, "do you do your own stunts?" Roger smiled and said, "of course I do, I also do my own lying."
RIP Sir Roger Moore. #classact
No kidding. Take a look at the end credits of one of his Bond movies sometime, the number of stuntmen are insane.
The only man cooler than James Bond was Roger Moore being himself.
It's so obvious that those are stunt doubles!
That's the entire point....
Really?
Haha great one!! Bruce Willis is such a legendary action star. And it’s so cruel what his medical condition did to him 😢
The real stunts men that did this are awesome 👏
Think how stupid this would have been to watch live while they keep switching out the stunt doubles.
what stunt doubles?
@@VicenzoV
Check out 1:45 when the Colbert double first hits the Willis double (clearly not Willis). And then Willis gets up from the drum set and hits the Colbert double with a guitar. And then all those punches were both doubles until Colbert appears with a bagel in his mouth. Back to the doubles until Willis spits out fake teeth. And then the whole staircase and balcony is doubles until Willis says "Yippee-Ki-Yay..." Clearly the Willis double jumping off the balcony.
Classic80sStuff lmao I know I was thinking the same and the crowd had to keep on cheering lmao
@@VicenzoV Bruce hair changes 2:45
TJ kudos to the doubles!
"come out from behind the desk"- that was so smooth and badass haha
Jordy van Ekelen can't you see its all fake.open your eyes
Hugh Hammell OFC it's fake you pseudo-woke nerd. it's a god damn late night talk show ffs.
+Hugh Hammell
Please lie on the nearest traintracks, you stupid piece of shit
03:05 Lol this actually made me laugh out loud, how drawn out they keep it going. The whole thing is hilarious, lol.
This was a better choreographed fight then most fight sequences in action movies now.
you've clearly never seen the passion of a man hell bent on vengeance for his slain dog.
You know. I was hoping Bruce Willis would kick Stephen Colbert's ass. :(
Colbert doesn't have testicles!
Bullshit! That's exactly what you liberals do.
amskeels Yah ALL Liberals go to Fox News videos... All of them. Every, Single Libtard! Just like all Mac users wear lensless glasses and tight jeans! You sir, win UA-cam's Commentators Ultimate kNowledge Trustee award. Also known as the C.U.N.T award to some of the more hipster UA-camrs.
Me 3! 8-)
because stephen colbert actually is a cunt.
This how presidents should be elected
In the United States definitely.
Trump vs hillary would have be hilarious.
This is how wars should be fought !
Put the opposing Presidents/Dictators up against each other, who ever wins the fight, wins the war, winner also agrees to pay medical expenses for the loser . Think of the lives & tax $$$ we would save
hattie nuff
Not if the Bad Guy wins.
Gunide not really
Really sad about Bruce’s denentia😕
This is what I expect to see when interviews get intense.
Bruce Willis suddenly grows old and young again in seconds… amazing
I started off thinking that Bruce's ego was starting to inflate.
Then the bout started and they threw in the stunt doubles.
Great plot! Very entertaining!
Stunt doubles?
Arent they real nice and steven
@@fuckoff6431 that's what I thought..
Ok saw that. Still good though..
@@tasnimrahman7261 yeah me too but after seeing the comment i watched it again lol . one thing unclear was this was live i suppose but you can hear the audience screaming
Man... difficult to go back all these years and see Bruce as he was....
No dinosaurs were killed in the making of this video.
No honey badgers either...course if a honey badger had been there he or she would have kicked both their asses.
@@jennylee9278 No doubt. Don't hear enough appreciation for those honey badgers. Nice one.
🤣🤣🤣
“That’s what I’m taking bout, Willis.” Hilarious.
Bruce Willis would wreck Colbert in a real fight.
Maybe or maybe not. It depends on what reasons you give for thinking Colbert would not know how to fight. My karate instructor was 5ft 5 and 115 lbs. and I was about 40 lbs. more, yet he hit me just right one night by accident and my whole arm went numb for 15 minutes. It's not size but knowledge.
If you look very closely, you can tell that the fighting guys aren't really Bruce Willis and Stephen Colbert.
For a second I thought that really was Bruce getting thrown around.
So did I. lol. Never knew till comments it was not them. Omg am I stupid / blind. lol
When did they change them to stand in stunt doubles. ?
@@okpunky They changed them continuously. Whenever there was actual damage done, it was a long shot, whenever it was a one liner, it was actually them and it was a close up. You'll also notice cuts in the scene when they change them around. It was well made
@@JamesMerlaut I agree VERY well made!! However the final 10 seconds when Bruce was thrown into the little white table that was actually really Bruce Willis right?? I can't really tell if it is or not lol
@@jonrivers5422 That one, upon specific examination, is indeed Bruce Willis. But the table wasn't a proper table, it was designed to break apart a certain way when someone made contact with it using a certain amount of force. So basically, just fall to the ground in you living room, hands first, thats what Bruce did.
@@JamesMerlaut Ahh gotcha!! I was about 90% sure it was him.. Thanks for looking into it and letting me know I truly appreciate it!!!!
it took me a moment to realize those are stunt doubles. im so stupid xd
RookyMonster now that you mentioned it, I had to rewatch it and saw that they we’re doubles
They are?
Damn they got me good.
😂😂😂
You ruined it for me
I’ll be honest. Not too fond of Stephen Colbert, but credit where it’s deserved, this was a great skit.
@Harry Peterson the president loves the attention though.
Agree
Harry Peterson I’m left leaning and hate Trump, but good god this show is unbearable these days.
Colberts a G
I can't stand Willis. But I agree.
I just laughed my ass silly... getting tossed into the drum set, priceless 😆😆🤣🤣👌
Just making sure I'm not blind. Those are both doubles, right? They lool completely different, but I thought this was live...
James Robin nah man they don't have make up on .. but now that you said something they really do look a bit odd ..
Justin Snyder l.p.
James Robin that's the whole joke
no it's a new diet. it makes you thinner for a few seconds
It's a taping. talk shows are all pre recordings.
I love when he comes out and says he doesn't do his own stunts. then he does that little one through the table! genius! I love both of these guys! shame that Brucie is having cognitive troubles today. I'm gonna miss his down to earth, wisecracking persona!
I love to watch reruns of Moonlighting where we see the very best of Bruce Willis before he became super famous as an Action star.
How did Steven Colbert sink this low?
I was certainly a fan of Moonlighting, but surely you agree that the first Die Hard was a great flick.@@UtopiaBlue68
LOL 😂 Bruce's stunt double looked like Dr.Phil
no stunt doubles, they did the stunts for real. XD
For real
Nice rack...just sayin'
Other guy looks like Dr Oz
And stephen’s looks like Mitt Romney 😂
Too bad Colbert couldn't actually get his ass kicked on TV… I would pay to see that
I met Bruce and when I went to shake his hand he grabbed me by the wrist LOL!
Given that there are something like 32 degrees, How does their handshake work ?
Georgie Thumbs that's interesting. iv only met one celebrity my entire life. it was Kim Novak about 14 years ago in eagle point Oregon. I went to church with my aunt and Kim and a male companion came in a little late and the only place to sit was by me. she shared her hymnal with me when it was time to sing. she had beautiful eyes and looked really good for her age.
a friend of mine lived in NYC and she said she saw celebrities all the time doing totally normal things like having lunch. she met Liv Tyler at a spacehog concert and said she wore a ton of makeup and Adam Sandler and Janine garafalo.
love it spoken like a New Yorka, thanks for sharing, great stories, now get the fuck outta hea
I know this is all acting and staged and shit but it's still hilarious
is it?
Trashcan Hacker no, it’s real.
Ridgely Sussman it’s really not man. When you punch someone usually there isn’t any sound effects or anything ;), and anyways if it was real they’d be bleeding a bit already. Or a lot.
@@jacques4532 are you serious?
Hicctooth • well that was fuckin cringe
I remember as a teenager when I remember watching the first Die-Hard movie. He became my favorite actor and still is. I think your amazing Mr. Willis
Great show, gentlemen......wonderful ending.
That was incredible, such a surprise 😆 not your normal boring interview.
Better acting and sound effects than a lot of moves I have watched lately.. amazing.
How is Jimmy Fallon beating Colbert in the ratings?
Cuts some off half way threw their story* "hahahahahah I love that story hahahahahahahaha"
cause trump lovers only watch jimmy, while colbert is yanking on trumps pants in every show
he should leave politics out of his show it alienates half the public
these guys are hilarious...loo
Clutch Cargo Because Colbert is a whiny ass liberal pussy, that's why!!! FUCK COLBERT!!!
Stephen DID NOT call him a liar. He said, "I find it hard to believe". My question would be, "How can anyone tell?"
My way of seeing it is to see if it is easy to see that it is actually B.W., or if his head is turned away.
Also, there are almost always stunt people in the credits, even in a few movies I have seen where I wouldn't call
anything I saw a stunt.
I do have to say, no real glass is used in any movies it is a form of sugar and if a person falls there is a pad or mattress
on the floor, as well as no real contact with slaps or punches, in most cases. and the sounds are added later,
That gladiator reference though
“are you not entertained?!”
gladiator fans are here x)
And that's what I'm "talking about, Willis" is also a reference (from an old TV show)

If only this were real and Bruce Willis kickeds Stephen Colbert‘s ass!
I laughed and squirmed at the same time! 😓😄
I never knew Dr. Phil was a stuntman.
How can anyone dislike this? Bruce Willis is such a fucking legend!!!
Because it's stunt doubles, that's why!
hes a lying piece of shit
everyone please applaud Spermario64 for still not getting the joke even after all of that.
He wasn't much of a lagend when he went to Canada and got sorted out by one of the locals when he started to shout his mouth off.
That coward Colbert wouldnt ever be able to take on any man let alone Bruce
bruce has always been a good sport doing stuff for talk shows
