Hi, Neisha! I’m a 74 year old lady who found you several years ago. You didn’t have any children at that time. I was very drawn to you and trying desperately to do keto! I lost 80 pounds but have put most of it back on….just can’t seem to keep myself in check! But I watch you faithfully and I love your content! I live in Kansas!
It is a struggle but I found you have to make up your mind how bad you want to be healthy. It helps that I live by myself and I don’t have others in my house that are not eating the way I eat. When I first started, I didn’t buy the things that I didn’t want to eat. I started with keto and 4 years later I am mostly carnivore. When I do slip, I right back on the plan and don’t beat myself up about slipping. None of family and only a couple of my friends eat this way but they don’t try to get me to eat the things that I should not. Take one day at a time, if you’re hungry eat something and eat until you’re full.
Same weather here in middle europe, just like you described. 😢😅 I feel like this is the substitution to the old way of living - women living together, taking care of kids and talking about clothes books and food and men ...all of that social aspect we miss in this age. So thank you for providing it here.
My Dad and brothers always hunted & fished. We had an annual "game feed" every New Years Day for years. The funniest story was the time somebody had made meatballs from bear meat... so the guys had tons of punny jokes about "bear balls" 😂 I've eaten turtle, too... along with all the ones you said. We even ate pigeon back when pickins were slim!
For people asking about rosacea, a remedy I found is using ivermectin injectable liquid will clear it up. Also good for skin tags and brown spots on skin. Just rub the liquid on your skin.
Hello, new here. Just started carnivore and I am having a rough time sticking to it. Have been keto for 2 years but my weight loss stalled. Fun video, thanks
Fairly new subbing !!🥰 I love Dr. Berry and your channels!! Learn from both of you. Love the Monday nt. Lives as well. God bless you and your beautiful family. ❤
Covenant of the water and… I believe it’s called. Covenant of the stone are both excellent, excellent books. I listened to them both on audible. I also heard you mention outlander. Which I absolutely loved. Yes give me some Jamie!
Thoroughly enjoyed this. ❤ I loved the talk about hunting and raising animals. So eye opening. I’m a city girl so I never learned about it that way. Thank you for sharing.
Ok! 😊 I'm watching the replay! I'm from Minnesota! I'm so glad I've met you guys...I'm trying to binge a bit of both your shows. I'm serious about carnivore...today, 4/15, I've only eaten meat, eggs, butter for one month (since 3/15)! I'm just disappointed I haven't lost any weight! I'm 72 & am most concerned about my bone loss...anyway, I'm enjoying your videos! 💕
Thank you, Neisha-this video was very helpful. I’ve been teetering on the edge of getting carnivore crisps for some time, and now I realized how helpful they can potentially be. My husband wants chicken more often than I want to cook it, and his other snacks are mostly carbs (fruit, dried fruit, peanut butter, cashews-he’s not really a carnivore, and I am animal-based low-carb) this will help skew his intake more towards protein and fat-if he likes them. I’m already sure that the ribeyes will be my favorite! Regarding the truffle mousse, I think I prefer to buy liver sausage, if I can find a brand with no sugar. I have to go to a different store to get it, and they have some whole rye sourdough bread that is one of the few grain products I will eat-liverwurst on heavily buttered open face rye bread is one of my real enjoyments, and if I’m not very hungry, that can be my supper. Takes about a week to use it up, and I actually drop a pound on those days! But we both like lamb, and I am serving it more often these days, since my husband can get uncomfortable with too much steak. The farm coop where we get most of our food is a treasure-trove of raw dairy, pastured meats (including pastured pork, which our whole foods no longer carries), soy-free eggs, and home-made ferments, even fresh produce in season. Thanks for your helpful video!
I love that you are mixed Boricua. I took am afro Puerto Rican , and part Cherokee Indian.. I speak Spanish. I speak a lot of Spanglish too Puerto Rican slang...I am fair. I am actively practicing to speak proper Spanish. You should teach your children it is part of their culture. Speaking Spanish is so important to me. I love the language too
Hi from Michigan. 2 months on carnivore, 1 month for my husband and we are loving it so far. Love your family and your book suggestions. I keep having to buy audible credits lol anyway, much love to you guys.
We eat squirrel meat here in Pennsylvania too! My grandma used to fry up a whole big plate and put on the table and us kids just loved it but you need to hunt a bunch to make a meal there’s not much meat on there critters!
Real Purity’s Roll On is the _only_ natural deodorant that has ever worked for me all day, but I’m going to try Native-and I’m a sucker for coconut scent! Ha! 🥥 Thanks, Neisha!!
After watching the GRWM, I went out and bought the Lancôme lash primer. I am loving it. I have the worst side lashes, so tiny, and hard to curl. I used it for the first time today and I think it will work for my lousy tiny lashes. Might be worth the price. I also love Charlotte Tillbury and love the magic cream. I bought the serum to go with it. Can’t wait to try it.
I'm so happy hearing your best books and I agree with them all ❤❤❤ Especially Covenant of water...listened on Audible and Loooved it - Author narrated...clever dude...MD, Artist, what not hes cool and yes this book...😍
Haha I think lantana is a wild flowering bush. It grows here in Florida . Btw, speaking of body odor products… I barely have to use any since I went carnivore. So weird how many things completely change😮
I LOVE Lantana! It is so cute, cheerful, and beautiful! I grew up in north central Texas and it is a perennial there, and very common in my neighborhood back in the 60s-70s. Now I hang my hat in the Pacific Northwest, and it does not do very well here. I usually buy a couple of new plants every year, only occasionally do they come back. That said, for every plant I don’t have success with there are five I didn’t have success with in my little flower garden I tried to grow as a child/ young adult. So overall a win.💕
I’m listening to it on audible.i heard you recommend it. Covenant of water I have read all the books you have read thank you. All Sarah Maas books are so good
Love all your chats...GRWM was fun. My hubby is Boricua as well. He was born here but went back and lived in PR for a while. So a Nuyorican actually but he is fluent both in written and speaking....I speak Spanglish fluently from working in NY hospitals Hahaha. I also cook PR food although not so much anymore. My hubby can't do strict "keto" because everything need red sauce, peppers, onions. But no rice and beans routinely or all those other yummy things.... and to him there is no substitute for rice that is remotely acceptable. The law is about the law not about fairness or justice...sucks, I work for lawyers currently.
My favorite natural deodorant is SaltAir. I order it directly from the company, but Target does carry some of their products. They are cleaner than Native and all of the other supposedly clean ones I’ve looked at so far.
Very much depends on where you are. If the weather was nice I would gladly sleep outside in my yard in western Washington, USA. And we go camping every summer, sometimes other campers are noisy, but we’ve never encountered any situation where I felt unsafe. Yes there are dangerous places, but many are very safe.
I was recently diagnosed with Hoshimotos, after years of complaining about my symptoms, to every doctor I came across. My question is, can I recover from hoshimotos, with supplements and eating carnivore. Do I need an endocrinologist. Thank you 🙏
You're in my thoughts and prayers while you await that trial. Thank you for all the great videos. i am a PHD Tribe member but also a Neisha fan. :) There is a really great novel called (Your Second Life Begins When You Realize You Only Have One) by Raphaelle Giordano | Jul 24 2018
I'm from Wisconsin originally but I've lived in Australia for 20 years. If you stay in the big cities you'd be fine. But yeah, the flight across the Pacific is brutal and I wouldn't recommend it with young kids.
@@lilolmecj There's a lot of the US I still want to see too. I've barely seen any of it! Not so much interested in the big cities, but the natural landmarks like Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, some of the historic places. It might cost a bit more, but if the 14 hour flight is putting you off, maybe think about a stop in Hawaii, then New Zealand, then Australia.
@@melvanini 💕good suggestion. My husband has been everywhere but Russia and Australia, obviously not every little village, but in broad strokes, we are trying to decide on one big trip probably in three years for our fortieth anniversary.
im a type 2 and carnivore, doing great except for now my CGM is reading low sugar in the evening, can I still fast for weight loss ? off all sugar meds ! any advise ? how low is too low ? my monitor alarm is set at 60 and goes off nightly. what can I do ?
I’m starting BBBE this month! I want to join a community with you. I am looking to find out how. I will keep looking but thought I’d throw out the question here. Maybe you don’t see these comments when I’m watching after the fact. Loving your you-tube!!
Very new to carnivore. I heard that we should take Vit D3 and B12. Are gummy supplements with sugar okay for the carnivore diet? Also, is French vanilla Coffee Mate coffee creamer okay to use? If not, please give alternative suggestions (butter in coffee 😝).
There aren’t any rules I or the community are going to force on you. But those things are not really Carnivore, but depending on amount could fit in Keto. How do you feel about regular heavy cream for your coffee?
I would like to ask you . I am a diabetic for 35 years been on carnivore for 5 weeks and wondering how long will I be able to expect my numbers to go down to normal. I have lost 20 pounds sleep great.
For reading options I still rate Oprah despite her recent missteps with weight management strategies. Thanks to Oprah I have read volumes of best-sellers other friends dismissed as lowbrow or “common”.😮
Any tips for getting back on the wagon after a massive relapse? The sugar cravings are the worst experienced in my life and I’m not sure if perimenopause may be making it harder.
I don’t know if this will help. It is not carnivore, but probably almost Keto. I took some sliced bababas and peaches and if I had thought I would have put avocado in, added some plain kefir, a dash of salt and potassium and some avocado oil, and blended it. It had no extra sugar, and a nice balance of flavors. Those were the fruits I had in my freezer. If you don’t have kefir, but have plain yogurt that would do, just add water to thin it some.

We had a chili cook off at work and someone made theirs with bear meat. I was shocked it wasn't bad.
