  • Yusef Wateef has an interesting perspective when it comes to Black Americans and relocating themselves outside of America. Yusef particularly has more than an affinity for Sao Paulo Brazil in particular, I think you'll find Yusef's brand of delivery and the way he articulates his ideas and concepts more than entertaining.
“We are all Black Expats, from many different countries who are living throughout Brazil. We are here to help each other adjust to life in one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world, while enjoying everything Brazil has to offer! We are all learning and growing culturally while supporting each other through the everyday joys and tribulations of our Expat lives!”Join this channel to get access to perks:

Aye bruh, we have the US constitution and the bill of rights. Price doesn’t matter. Unlike other countries, we have the ability to complain. Bruh, COMPLAIN! Do you know how POWERFUL complaining is. Most countries refuse to let the people have that power. So, racism is everywhere, but at least in the US we can fight it better than others.

I just discovered this guy, he is fantastic. I also just found out that he passed away from Covid after a short stay in the hospital. Covid is ripping thru Brazil and elsewhere like crazy. Be careful folks.
Got to disagree with him about SP a little. It is the business capital of Brazil but not the cultural center. When you visit you really need a local to get around. I call it the NYC of Brazil, a concrete metropolis. Rio and Salvador you can just arrive and find your way to the sights on your own.

I watched this whole interview. Super engaging! I like brothers like this. Well traveled, intelligent, and making big moves in life.

Zo that brotha was speaking a lot of truth, I experienced alot of those things he mentioned in ref to going to a place where you don't know anybody it's scary but empowering at the same time. I was 21 the first time I went to Japan and the Philippines back in the 80s those experiences helped me be able to prepare and know what to do on my next trip, the difference today is the internet and social media and being able to work from anywhere in the world. Good content 👍👍
