Zoe - The crazy thing is my first time going to Brazil in 2003, John arranged our entire crew apartments, cell phones and some activities. There was like 10 of us all in our 20's going to Rio for the first time. He corrdinated a pool party up in the hills which is still one of my best memories in life. Good dude. The even crazier thing is he still there. He had already been there some years when we met him in 2003. Crazy world. I can't wait to watch this interview.

Great interview! You brothers touched on a number of critical topics that could easily be a video series in and of themselves.
I've known John for decades since he organized the first trip to Brazil for me and six of my boys - from transportation, accommodations, tours to money exchange...literally everything. From that trip, I developed a personal relationship with him. Though there are folks who may have a negative opinions/experiences of/with him, and justifiably so, he's has always been good to me - both on a business level and personal level. From the perspective of someone who was present and privy to parts of it, but not personally involved, many of the allegations on both sides boil down to bullshit and lack of actual communication (something Zoe mentioned). It's unfortunate for all involved how it has played out over the years. Nonetheless, any historical discussion of the evolution of brothers from the US visiting Rio, particularly Copa, is not complete without highlighting John's role in that experience, for good or bad.

Zoe, I would have to disagree with you on your statement about the passport bros movement. According to the way men get treated in the states by women and government is unexpectable. Most of the passport bros are fed up with the way things go down in the states. So why not explore different options in going overseas like you are doing as well. Brothers have different reasons for leaving the states and it's nothing wrong with it. You sound a little salty and selfish about the passport bros and you can't stop the movement. We are getting our passports and we are coming overseas for a better life. I love and support your channel because we can agree to disagree. Thanks.
