I'm not kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it Investing is a long-term game, so focus on the long run.
I can’t focus on the long run when I should be retiring in 3years, you see I’ve got good companies in my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profit has been stalling, does it mean this recession/unstable market doesn’t provide any calculated risk opportunities to make profit?

@@EvanQuiel4 I agree, my profit has been consistent no matter the market situation, I got into the market early 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me so I sold off, got back in Dec 2020 this time with guidance from an investment adviser that was recommended by a popular economist on a subreddit, long story short, its been 2years now and I’ve gained over $850k following guidance from my investment adviser.

It is not always fear. Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value
1:16 Wrong, I'm a newbie and this wrong information really confused me.
MACD line is calculated through the 12 (usually) day AND 26 (usually) day moving average.
The signal line is the 9 (usually) day moving average OF the MACD line.
That's why they can be negative. If the MACD was the EMA12 and signal line was the EMA26, they could never be negative because there aren't negative stock prices.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

Awesome video! I know it's already like 2 years old, but this has helped me quite a bit.
Applied this to my charts and just pulled three wins in a row.
Go a $22 long, a $43 long, and $102.50 short.
The 200 day EMA along with pairing that with the MACD info has really seemed to work well.
I had just came off of 2 losses in a row due to jumping and out at the wrong time.
Those 3 wins were all single contracts as well.
Got a little gun shy after a $30 and $52 loss.
Waiting on the MACD lines to flip again and then see if I want to go back in for another long.

What time frame are you using to enter trades?
@UnIovable I've made roughly $175-$225 each day so far using this. Not making me rich, but it's been pretty decent for the last two weeks.
@gui8g4mer49 7:30am and 9:30am EST on micro futures have been my best times. I've been really keeping myself from jumping in on small moves and it's keeping me from cutting my wins away over the day. I've had a few days 30mins before the standard market closures at 4pm EST where I've been able to get some decent gains.
That hasn't been a reliable as the morning though.

This is great stuff. One question though, what timeframe do you trade on? Is this a daily chart?
I have been using the MACD for years, and my application is I use it as a forecaster of what is too come. If the trend is down, the MACD will start to cross over to the plus side of the equation a few days, sometimes a week before it actually happens and notifies me a possible change of direction is close at hand. Problem is, it doesn't always come to pass. It will crossover to the plus side, linger and then fall back to the negative side and because of this, I never enter the market just because it switches from one side to the other. You have to use other indicators in conjunction with the MACD. I keep my eye on it always, as it is useful for possible directional change. For the most part, it is reliable and needs to be in your indicator tool box.
