I love this indicator setup but I recommend to everyone to have the 5 and 13 EMAs on the chart as well as it will reduce the false signals of the SELL and BUY. Once you get all 3 on the chart going in the correct direction, GO FOR IT.
@@samuelhough6751for a BUY trade, you would want the 5EMA to be ABOVE the 13EMA. You will also notice they’ll start moving upwards, indicating a rise in price, and in this case I imagine the price would be above both EMA lines too, or it will be very soon. For a SELL, look for the exact opposite… the 5EMA to be BELOW the 13EMA, EMA lines aiming downwards and the exact price level to be BELOW both EMA’s. If you see the EMA lines crossing multiple times, and they’re fairly flat with no clear direction up or down, that’s consolidation, a ranging market, stay away until you can see a clear push upwards or down, otherwise you’ll get a lot of false signals and a whole load of pain. Yes I agree. This is golden for trading 0DTE directional options on SPX/SPY/NDX. I filter out false signals with Peter Reznicek's AD indicator for SPX to filter out false signals and confirm true signals. It is about $100 but well worth it. I am not connected with Reznicek in any way and receive no commissions or remuneration of any kind. I have just found that adding a view of the market internals has been a real positive move because it is a leading indicator and can't be altered to "fit" the market. Then finding this Heiken Ashi/ Chandlier Exit/ZLSMA strategy has been the missing piece for me. Took $3300 profit in 3 minutes 13 seconds this morning out of a NDX 0DTE vertical spread. using it on the 3 min with vwap and nadaraya watson envelope (62 settings) Everything's on the 3 min. I just wait for the candles to be at bottom of the nadaraya watson envelope sloping up for calls and above vwap mixed with this strategy. Same thing in reverse. Great stuff sir
Identifying consolidating involves looking for those that have steady support and resistance levels, trade in a narrow range, and have low trading volumes.
You necessarily don’t need to rely on indicators to start trading and you can easily tell the market is in a consolidation as soon as you spot candlestick patterns like doji, spinning top, and hammer.
Similar problem for me,when the market hits consolidations…..i know how to enter on trends, but do is there a way of telling when a consolidation is going to start or end?

Hi, thank you very much for the video, I wanted to ask if after I entered a long transaction and the signal suddenly changed to red, should I immediately sell if it has not yet gone below the white graph and there was no signal from the bot to sell, or do you exit only if there is a sell signal and the red crosses below?
1. Was this strategy backtested? Appreciate it if you could show the results, please. 2. This strategy does not perform very well when the market is consolidating; maybe another indicator must be added to avoid false signals.
I've backtested this strategy, when the market is consolidating the TP's are smaller so the best idea is to set a consistent level of TP whether that's 10, 20 pips or however much & basically just scalp until it breaks that level but it doesn't really give false signals if you trade it right as shown in the video. I've only backtested it on indices like Ger40 because that's what I trade so I'm not too sure what you're trading, you may want to quickly backtest it which can take less than 5 minutes and just see how it's performed over the last couple of weeks or so.
@@TheG4me1994 It still works fairly well if you set your support & resistance/channel and just basically play both sides, the signals still appear on each side and it's easy to tell when it's false, usually, you'll get something like a buy signal near the resistance that hasn't been broken yet, waiting for a confirmation is better but for the most part the sell will be at the resistance and the buy will be at the support during a consolidation stage.

The Fed is no doubt at fault when they were too slow on controlling inflation in the beginning and now they are trying to do extreme catchup. The pandemic, the supply chain issues and the Ukraine war all contribute to this perfect storm of brewing the inflation. Don't forget the big spike in housing prices, that's another reason the Fed is having a hard time to fight the inflation. All in all, cash in king now and milk that high savings rate if you got the cash . Like ebb and flow in river. Good time will only last so long and bad time will fade . My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 540k from day trading with Godwin Myers in few weeks, this is not a bad alternate during these crash...

Both should be pointing upwards or downwards. Use them as additional filter of false signals.

Just been playing around with this strategy, try change the chandelier multiplier to 0.6 gets you in the trade at an earlier better position 💲💲💲💲

@@FareedFaisal-uz7hwi also use RSI divergence and have tried ICT concepts, Fibonacci, S/R trend lines and i’ve noticed this strategy actually works really well especially if you have that background knowledge and have been trading for a while for someone who is new i could see this working pretty well as long as you can learn market fundamentals and good risk management this is a pretty solid method
Just watch it for the first time. Although it was 1 year old post but the logic is beautiful.

I have kept my eye out over the years whenever there is a printed review of portfolio management software. I can say unequivocally that there is not a better all-around portfolio management software program out there today. LIBERTON CORP handles everything... even those esoteric transactions that no one thinks about talking about in the media. And, Quicken is not sophisticated enough to handle the transactions as seamlessly as VERMONTCORPLTD

hello. i did a backtest on bybit. you can find it on my channel.
Dont trade during consolidation wait for a break out or move to another pair that is not consolidating
I've backtested this strategy, when the market is consolidating the TP's are smaller so the best idea is to set a consistent level of TP whether that's 10, 20 pips or however much & basically just scalp until it breaks that level but it doesn't really give false signals if you trade it right as shown in the video. I've only backtested it on indices like Ger40 because that's what I trade so I'm not too sure what you're trading, you may want to quickly backtest it which can take less than 5 minutes and just see how it's performed over the last couple of weeks or so.
@@TheG4me1994 It still works fairly well if you set your support & resistance/channel and just basically play both sides, the signals still appear on each side and it's easy to tell when it's false, usually, you'll get something like a buy signal near the resistance that hasn't been broken yet, waiting for a confirmation is better but for the most part the sell will be at the resistance and the buy will be at the support during a consolidation stage.
You can add EMA ribbon and trade if a market is trending.

From what I understand they are more suited for trend recognition rather than for exact entry points since they do not show real prices of the ticker. The Fed is no doubt at fault when they were too slow on controlling inflation in the beginning and now they are trying to do extreme catchup. The pandemic, the supply chain issues and the Ukraine war all contribute to this perfect storm of brewing the inflation. Don't forget the big spike in housing prices, that's another reason the Fed is having a hard time to fight the inflation. All in all, cash in king now and milk that high savings rate if you got the cash . Like ebb and flow in river. Good time will only last so long and bad time will fade . My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 540k from day trading with Godwin Myers in few weeks, this is not a bad alternate during these crash...
