China needs a strong Russia and Russia needs a strong China. Russia graduates as many STEM students as does the US. China has at least eight universities offering semiconductor majors. Russia should send students to China to learn so it can develop a strong workforce of semiconductor specialists. Russian students might even intern in Chinese semiconductor companies. Both countries can work on joint research in advanced semiconductor technologies because the US has chosen to break off those collaborations with China. Chinese semiconductor companies might also consider building factories in Russia. Russia may also posses semiconductor minerals that both can use for semiconductor applications. With the creation of BRICS and the expanding number of countries joining, both Russia and China can prioritize their needs within BRICS. Helping countries with these natural resources to mine and process these minerals becomes a win-win for both the supplier and the buyer.

The Russian are really smart people. They just don’t have the volume of utilization of chips to bring down prices. Therefore their chips might be prohibitively expensive. Unlike the G7 bloc, China are Russian’s iron brother. They do have economic scales to produce chips at competitive prices. Much too low for even the western bloc to make enough profits to be a going concern.. That’s why I would sell any AMD, NVDA and any other G7 bloc high tech stocks. The Wall Street journal reported that the U.S. dollar is saved by some Monopoly money called crypto stable coins from the world’s dedollars trends. A sovereign currency is backed by cryptocurrency? No one country has backed cryptocurrency (crypto means invisible) in the world. That’s how far gone the U.S. financial institutions are.

Russia is a big country and it is growing economically despite of the sanctions against her. The Ukraine quagmire has enabled China to take the leading position in the Russian market as her market share soars to 89%. If the usa didn’t put a ban on the export to Russia the American chip companies could have taken a big chunk of the Russian market. The west has shot its own foot by sanctioning Russia as China rises rapidly in semiconductor technology.
