I see where you r coming from but dont get me wrong, i think cobus is a brilliant drummer, and i think he does it more for the fans and enjoyment before his endorsements.

I'm agree with you for some points, but not for all. If I take the exemple of Cobus, okay, he choses commercial songs since one year, but when he wasn't very famous, he didn't play this kind of songs, and Breaking Benjamin or Angels and Airwaves aren't as famous as Rammstein or Nightwish, but he became famous with these songs. Furthermore, you always play the same kind of music, while Cobus plays many kinds of music. To finish, I think Cobus has a real plus, he adds his style on his drum covers.

it's never too late man... I started when i was 17 and i'm 18 now haha! you will progress so fast, just don't make it too difficult, keep playing easier songs.
When you try to play songs that are too hard you will only get yourself down..
