Trying to pick apart every little detail from that track without having stems to work from was a fucking nightmare. That's programming the music, too, as well as the drums. I can't imagine the talent you'd have to have to figure out the drums and play them by ear. This guy is a fucking legend.

I think drums are not only the guitar player's favorites - every musician is fascinated by them. Without them there would be no music that moves the body. In most older or undeveloped cultures, it was the beat that made people dance. Percussions of all kinds were invented and used before the first melodic instrument was ever made. And even those arrived from the recognition that any percussive "instrument" generates different tones and different colors of those tones. Yes, gooddrummers are and always be in high demand because the band is only as good as its drummer. To be precise as clock, energetic and innovative - there are simply not too many of such drummers out there. As a bonus, he really has a great kit for someone who ain't making his living with it as a pro. Nice!
