Legit the best guide I've seen for this mission. I'm so sick of guide makers wasting my time with fluff and useless prefacing. This was clear, concise, and easy to follow. Much appreciated!
No comm tips from me if you introvert or having mic issue : Glyphs encounter: this more easier if you play VOW raid, if you never play VOW just use day 1 call out like guardian with ghost, orange dude, mexico etc Obelisk: Simply count 1-9 tell your homies which one is NOT lighted up/tether make sure both of you agree count from right or left to prevent confusion example, 1 6 9 and 2 4 8 so you can call out 3 5 7 to make easier which one to kill tormentor Boss room phase one: same as glyphs, kill taken witch that responsible for your roles and call out Phase two: This one is tricky one, make sure you understand analog clock, to make easier assign one of you to become call out that tether example 1 6 9 12 so you can figure it out which one is same to you and call AIM AT 9 or 9 wait until correct first sequence switch and then SHOOT so both of you can sync without any failure TEAM YOU 12 12 11 * *1 11 1 10 2 10 *2 9 * 3 9 * 3 8 4 8 4 7 * 5 7* *5 6 6 This is example for clock (LOOK GOOFY AF) if you look both you and team had 1 same switch is 9 so after TEAM call out their switch, YOU job is figure it out which one is same and you know is 9 so you chat, AIM AT 9 after that first sequence appear again you call out SHOOT I have bad english but i hope that helped
I wish I could do this mission but I’m nervous af. I unlocked it a while ago but when I go on LFG people are asking for experts and I’m FAR from an expert. I’m just a casual player XD.
Unfortunately this is a common issue with the D2 community. Just put yourself out there and you'll eventually find really cool people who are happy to help. Good Luck!
This mission is so fun! I feel like people understandably hate on it due to it being the best way to grind for these class items. But it really is a great mission. Thanks for the guide!
Loadout recommendations change with the meta, so I tend to leave them out of missions that will be around a long term. None of my raid guides have specific loadout recs! My GM guides are like…50% loadout, lol.
Until it's for solos, Destiny is off my radar. Shame as I've been playing since the Beta. Too many slaps in the face for solos and casuals and thus, the player population is dying (dead).
From what I can tell, declines in player population stem from increasingly demanding time requirements to remain competitive, sub-par and repetitive releases and release structure, and diminishing reputation of the company and the lack of confidence that instills. Most of my clan is taking a break, leaving me to rely on Fireteam Finder and LFGs. As a largely solo player for this entire year, I find the game’s accommodation of solo players to be far, far better than it ever was. There is always going to be content NOT for solo players, and that seems reasonable to me. If you’ve grown tired of the solo offerings, then I’d recommend A) letting Bungie know with feedback, as they’ve been very responsive to it lately and B) maybe take a break and come back after a while! It’s helped me tremendously.
I feel you on that. I have not did the dual mission. Maybe later the will offer a way to get a class item different. I did the Choir of one Auto rifle once. I was not running it 3 or 4 times. My first time not doing all the weekly missions
Yep. I can't do anything requiring a microphone due to my living situation. I feel ripped off by this expansion... with the best exotic item behind a wall I can never breach. Ability is not the question since I cleared all Grandmasters... even back when they were difficult!
its confusing that on one encounter you're counting left to right but on last boss you're counting right to left. keep it consistent and stick to it being like a clock
Clockwise is not left-to-right nor vice versa, it’s relative to the center of the clock! And my callouts can be safely ignored for better options. The logical inconsistency stems from the Obelisk switches not mapping to a clock AND not truly being horizontal, as 1 and 9 are closer to the center than 2 and 8. As such, the same callout method cannot be perfectly applied to both encounters. If you have a better way of marrying the different logics for new callouts, comment here! What’s in the video are the prevailing callouts, and this hopefully clarifies the amount of meticulous consideration that goes into fast guide scripting.
@@cketch this is what we like to call semantics. A simple comment of “you have a point” would have sufficed. As someone who only watches your content wasn’t expecting this kind of defensive reply back. Take care and good luck with your videos, I won’t be watching them anymore.
@@CplgLockoma I was only trying to lay out the logical quibbles I have to work through while writing these ☹️ I don’t reply to comments I think are hostile or bad faith, I just don’t get to talk about the writing process often.
Lmfao defensive?! Ain't no wayyyy I was just about to comment what a respectful, thorough and comprehensive response to a simple comment. It's appreciated to have general insight for some and for others it seems to be quite the opposite and that's okay. Civility on both sides- commendable.
Do you know about these class items? They're pretty OP. They have two exotic perks on them, instead of one. For example, I have one with the powers of The Stag and Verity's Brow. On one exotic item. (This isn't my best one, I'm just giving an example). There are 16 different exotic powers you can get, in any combination of two of those per class item. Seriously, if you haven't done this, you need to. There are some ridiculously powerful builds you can do with these class items.
Best guide I have seen so far. Perfect for First-Timers.
Legit the best guide I've seen for this mission. I'm so sick of guide makers wasting my time with fluff and useless prefacing. This was clear, concise, and easy to follow. Much appreciated!
That might be the best guide format I've seen, doesn't get more concise that than. Good job.
I'd like to do this, but im a solo player and LFG usually doesn't have the patience to teach people. Good luck to everyone!

Boss room phase one: same as glyphs, kill taken witch that responsible for your roles and call out
Phase two: This one is tricky one, make sure you understand analog clock, to make easier assign one of you to become call out that tether example 1 6 9 12 so you can figure it out which one is same to you and call AIM AT 9 or 9 wait until correct first sequence switch and then SHOOT so both of you can sync without any failure
TEAM YOU
12 12
11 * *1 11 1

The ending of dual destiny is exactly like the co-op ending of Enter the Dungeon, and I love it

Thanks for the guide!
Great for two people not fot solos need fixing
Do I have to unlock dual Destiny on each character class once it’s unlocked on one character?
You need to run it on each character to unlock each class item, but once that’s done the unlocked items can be farmed and purchased from Xûr.
@@cketch thanks!
Good job little light
I get that it's the dungeons gimmick but I wish there was a way to solo it 😢
Yeah. Don't know if I'll ever get it. Fireteam finder is one thing, but basically forcing communication isn't for me.
I'm up for communication, but the mass player decline thanks to bungie's terrible business model etc, you can never find dedicated team anymore.
@@kingcam0775theres no way to in game lfg this :(

I need start doing Sherpa Streams. So many folks don’t wanna do these really funny missions with great loot, and I just wanna help!
I was expecting a 4 minute Speedrun guide.
At this rate that’s about how long it takes to load into the Tower 🫠
just watch the speed runners do it and copy their movements lol. the best class to speed run this is actually Titan btw
but why no loadout?

Thanks for the video, but eff that, lol. I'll do duality when it is necessary. Class items look cool though. Subbed.
This is, I think, my favorite Destiny mission maybe ever. HIGHLY recommend.
you don’t choose alignment at the beginning. you choose it by using a dark or light subclass before starting the mission.
Erm ya I think I'll pass. 😊
If you and snag a partner, I HIGHLY recommend it. The mission and the item are so good.
