The scariest scene in this movie for me was that part where David was riding towards those 3 men who were getting ready to fire Gulliver's gun at him with David grabbing hold of the gun as it went off and the round just missing Gulliver getting his attention as the gun fell over that cliff taking David with it and seeing him lying on the ground not moving I started crying right there thinking David didn't survive the fall and hearing Gulliver talk down to King Little and BomBo and their people for their actions and seeing David was alright was really something and it made me laugh later as everyone was singing both songs and saying goodbye to Gulliver as he left for home man this was a great family film showing the power of love can conquer anything and that Wars don't solve anything even something as trivial as a song.
Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful, wonderful film. Sometimes the painful contrast between today's cultural mindset and that of the past is made even more poignant by seeing the artistry, craftsmanship, and skill of an earlier generation.

I get your point but unfortunately it's not popular for kids to look this stuff up. I love animation so much. I'm 35 and sought out old animation like this growing up and hated the CGI stuff because it felt so impersonal and not artistic. Not to mention the orchestral scores created and synced with movements in the animation is amazing. This was my first time watching this and I'm in awe. And it was made in 1939, nearing a hundred years old. Really cool
Im 25, i had a vague memory of watching this movie as a child a bunch and loving it. I just found it here on UA-cam by chance again and excited to relive it
It's a beautiful song. I wore out the VHS of the movie as a kid (I'm in my 30s too). Back then I thought Guilliver's song was boring, but now it's one of my favorites.
I have been watching this movie since I was a young child in the late 80s. Its stayed with me this long. ❤ its a childhood memory that I will never forget. Long live Gulliver ❤❤❤ rest in peace daddy.
I haven't seen this forgotten classic in over 50 years. I didn't realize how marvelous the animation is. Definitely on a Disney-esque level. As the truthful saying goes, they don't make them like this anymore. Not for quite a while, in fact. Thank goodness for UA-cam. Thanks for posting this epic memory. 💖
I saw this movie again (in Sweden, cos im born here) as late as 1997. When i was 10 and it aired on TV that New Years Eve. And 23 years later, i revisited it here on UA-cam in a completely new light. Because the restoration was beautiful and it looked properly handled. And i have loved it even more. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention, CCC! 👍 🌺💞👍👍👍 And please upload another cartoon (that had an unlucky timing and suffered a terrible blow at the box office due to the Pearl Harbor incident) from Paramount, "Mr Bug Goes To Town" (Hoppity Goes To Town) as well. Thanks, CCC!
Not really. Fantasia came out one year later & was 100x the innovation, storytelling and pure, well, fantasy that puts this piece of hackery to shame. I did like it when I was six, though ...
Eski animasyonları izlemek bana huzur ve keyif veriyor. Çünkü çizimleri şimdikilere göre daha özenli geliyor. Altyazılı da olsa izleyebilmek umut verdi bana. 😂 Muhteşem 🎉

That's crazy I have a 4 year old daughter and when this came out my Grandpa would have been 4 years old he is still here today just turned 88 years old and I am actually living with him because grandma just passed and I'm helping him with his house. It's so amazing having a grandfather still.

Im 39 and im with ya. I watched here in Mexico in the open tv in the 90s.
It's a beautiful song. I wore out the VHS of the movie as a kid (I'm in my 30s too). Back then I thought Guilliver's song was boring, but now it's one of my favorites.
My grandma had this recorded on a VHS tape. I watched it many times as a kid in the 90's.
I love the Town Crier and his voice. "There's a giant on the beach!"
I have been watching this movie since I was a young child in the late 80s. Its stayed with me this long. ❤ its a childhood memory that I will never forget. Long live Gulliver ❤❤❤ rest in peace daddy.
I saw this movies in the 80’s and had no clue what it was!! 40yrs later and I can’t believe I am watching it!😢
Thank you so much. I've been looking for this film. I've not seen it since I was a kid in the 90s on cartoon network.
Glad you found it here in CCC @MrLobo1024 We've got quite some treasures...!
Jonathan swift, Lewis Carroll, Rudyard kipling etc were legend among legend in 2009 era
Rudyard Kipling was a racist white supremacist POS.
One of the best cartoon movies ever! thanks!
42:47 has got to be THE MOST hilariously animated display of terror I've ever seen! 🤣🤣
Very beautiful drawing. A piece of art for sure
เรารู้สึกเป็น อิสระ ที่ได้ดูการ์ตูน นี้
I’m a 90’s kid but I remember having the vhs for this movie and watching it a lot when I was like 3-4, classic
One of the first movies I can remember ever watching I was born in 1987 and my Nan had it on an old VHS
So true. I watched it in 88 or 90.. Unbelievable how fast time is flying
Was also born in 1987.
Mine too! I used to watch it on VHS when being a kid!
lol ''There's a Giant on the Beach!!!!!!!!'' :D
@@jjamo5 Hahahahaha
@@jjamo5 "What? Where, where?"
How could 3 people hate this cartoon, unless they work for Disney. This classic is 81 years old now 1939.
Vulcan salute towards the end.
My dad has this on VHS and loved it....Used to watch it as a kid with him. It´s a masterpiece :)
Me i used to have the dvd back in 2004
I the love animation! Guiliver moves like a real human!!!
I'm healing my childhood through these cartoons.
1939!! The animation is mindblowing.
My, my, my. It has to be at _least_ fifty-five years since seeing this and it was a classic even then.
I saw this cartoon when I was a kid around 9 or 10 years old. It stuck in my memory and now I am 53 years old. It is really a great cartoon.
Wow I forgot all about this movie. I'm 38 and this was one of those movies they'd play at school (hungover teacher?). Anyway it was one of the few movies I looked forward to watching from the library. Thanks for reuniting me with it
That's crazy I have a 4 year old daughter and when this came out my Grandpa would have been 4 years old he is still here today just turned 88 years old and I am actually living with him because grandma just passed and I'm helping him with his house. It's so amazing having a grandfather still.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for this wonderful picture as well! Thank you very much again, CCC!
Great to watch and remind ourselves of childhood our generation had. Greetings to all from sunny Croatia!
It's 30 Aug, 24,Friday, 4:30pm, I am 28, and I came across this in UA-cam and watched the whole of it at one go. These movies always bring so much to the table and are always enjoyable. Happy weekend!!
such an adult film i mean
I have always been amazed that this type of animation came out back in the 30s! So lifelike with the movement and mannerisms. Too bad they don’t make production and cartoons like this anymore
