I'm not saying this is better than most of what Hollywood makes. But it certainly deserves a high place for the creativity and hard work put into it. Storytelling, visual effects, character design, sound design (ESPECIALLY sound design; that was my favorite part). Overall, this was a great film to experience!

In the nature world, there are insects that do help each other. Ants in particular. Although lady bugs do have a astute instinct to survive dangerous perils on their way to self discovery as well as propagation, I like this animation because it shows that borders or barriers come down in the face of adversity. The sounds, designs around the real world and music was top notch. This was an incredible joy ride to see where one little lady bug surpassed his own limitations despite his broken wing. Helping others such as the black ants who were outnumbered ten to one and using human necessities such as matches, fireworks or other forms of ill-nature devices to turn the tide of war. This film had camaraderie, friendship, happy times, sad times and lonely moments to tug at your heart strings. If we humans think we have it tough, try looking and understand that the nature world has it a lot rougher because what we saw happens daily year in and year out. Survival of the fittest at its finest. Incredible story and a wonderful tool to teach the young at just how unbearably sensitive the nature world really is.

I am watching January 2024. I just love this type of animation! And every time the little red lady bug bumped into something the noise that it makes as it bounces off different objects is hysterical! Makes me sort of cringe lol!

I have watched Miniscule for many years now, possibly the 5th or 6th time for this video. I reckon it is a brilliant concept masterfully done. The concept is also brilliant in that it spans the language barriers and the need for translators. I hope they are still making new videos.
I can’t believe the ladybug 🐞 didn’t get the ants to go help the little black bug set his house back upright after he helped not only the ladybug but in giving the matches helped the ants too. That and the ladybug did go back to the other ladybug. 🐞 good grief
Yes it was good but I was disappointed at the ending. Could have been better like going back to help tip the house back upright with some ants and then going back to the other ladybug after showing the ants and the little black bug happy could have shown the lady bugs together with a family. His dream come true. But otherwise very good indeed
