REDRIVER2 is an unofficial port of the Playstation 1 version of Driver 2, an open world car chase game. It is a cop drama styled after 70s cop movies like the previous game. Driver 2 was released in 2000 on PS1 with a condensed Game Boy Advance port in 2002. The game was known for pushing the limits of the PlayStation 1, resulting in performance and draw distance issues. These have been resolved in this port, along with fixes for long-standing bugs and other quality of life improvements.

This leaving Chicado mission doesnt make sense. Tanner is an undercover cop. If you send dirty cops after him, his cover is, probably, blown... unless dirty cops are after another dirty cop by Kane s orders which would make even less sense because 1- Kane would know Tanner is a cop, therefore cover blown and 2- the cops would be after a dirty cop which is already their job meaning it doesnt make sense for Kane to be involved making the previews missions make even less sense. Also this is the only instance of bride cops in the entire game.
Well that’s just BLACK DADDY’s doing, but it’s just fun. Of course, meeting Jones in Chinatown made more sense when he told Tanner to meet him in a couple of hours. Probably the reason why the devs change the location to Ukrainian Village for a long trip, also in the real game, we’re just chased by Brazilians.
GRRR you're sooo lucky with Bus Crush haha, i'm currently stuck on this mission, is just unbalanced, you can get pursuers to spawn AS YOU'RE WRECKING THE CARS ugh
I’m always lucky sometimes. Fun fact: In the Pre-Release of Driver 2 there were pursuers spawning early while getting to the bus and to wreck the cars. It was changed in the final for them to spawn after wrecking Vasquez’s cars.
@@Tank09YT Oh that's interesting, i was wondering why sometimes a bus pursuer would've spawn right next to the bus we need to get, maybe BD wanting to reference this, by the way...i manage to pass the mission HOORAY but now to Steal The Cop Car nooooooooo haha

the ambulance/rio pickup truck engine sounds terrible, is not clean loop like chicago copcar, also the hijack the truck engine sounds bad too, sounds like a piston or something.

There is an app called launcher at RE Driver 2 and I clicked on controller folder and did not want to accept the setup I made . I don't know why !!!
After I install the one you suggest , should I put it at Re driver 2 folder and where exactly?
@@momoqahtani6545 no just click on the scptoolkit driver on the desktop screen, find witch DuelShock you like to install and you’re good to go.

I don't like these driving physics at all, the car is too planted - Cars in driver 2 are meant to be sluggish, they're American boats like the cars in GTA IV! The handling in the video reminds me of GTA5, it's rubbish, not period-accurate whatsoever
I don't see anything wrong with the car handling, I think this mod aims the to replicate DRIVER 1 handling
