Imagine if this game was on Steam with the steam workshop for the mods. It would be amazing and on top of that it would bring more players to play the game.
This is really awesome, what we've all been waiting for Now, it has a few problems such as : - Reflections not shining properly on the trunk (0:37) - Cars not going upward after collisions just like the original game (2:20) - Drifting/colliding sounds not being the original ones (Ex: 0:32, 0:52)
I feel that this Driver 1 remake/remaster project is very pretty and cool by my definition. I love to see for example, that if you smash your car into something the Damage bar itself also shakes a little.
Hehe Driver go vroom vroom in Miami, the CLASSIC Driver experience! Matti always making things look real good in this map. The music always gets me pumped too. Now if I can just get some of those missions done for Chicago Syndicate...

Impressively, dynamic shadows are a nice upgrade compared to static shadows. apparently there is no transparency in the water. the PC versions water was honest back then. I also noticed a lack of variety in the PC version NPC vehicles.
@@Nevad25 hmm no the real car its based on is one of the all time great sleepers of all time, the Buick GS 455, a car that easily rivaled the hemi's in a car that was damn near 3x the size of it with its sheer acceleration, power and quality with some examples of the super version having over 70K on the clock with the GSX Stage 1 in saturn yellow while that is the crappy tail lights of a 1972 chevelle bolted on the end so for a car guy and people who know, it makes alot of sense to choose that as a dependable powerful and capable set of wheels.

I have trouble with the way Syndicate handles controller's dead zones, especially after a jump but maybe that's a setting
