That ends my trip down memory lane with the last official Driver game to be released...9 years ago! Wish Ubisoft or another developer would bring this series back! Anyway, I'll see you guys next in Night City on December 10th!
One thing that I find interesting is Jerico himself. In Tanner's head he's this unstoppable force that you can never get the edge on. Nothing Tanner does shakes him off. In the real world when Jerico saw Tanner coming after him he was like, "Of course he survived the car crash and figured out my plan, why not?". I believe dream-Jerico is a representation of Tanner's obsession which explains why Tanner can never get the edge on him and why he seems to be everywhere.
Oh yeah that actually makes sense, as there would be other things to report other then what Jericho’s doing, like Kidnapping some guys son (chapter 4), Stealing a brief case in front of a class of kids, (Chapter 7), the street races, etc.
In the German Dub Jericho is voiced by the one who voiced Dom Toretto and Tanner by one who voiced Brian O'Connor, so the German Dub feels technically like a F&F Episode 😄
@@mosestrevino4515 Dunno, I want gunplay, I feel that would make the game better, imagine open world driver game where you play as Tanner, make it L.A Noire basically, give him cases, investigations and so on, it seems that Ubisoft wanted to do it with next driver game before turning it into WATCH_DOGS
@@HeySlickThatsMethe on foot gameplay additions were tried before, and it ruined the driver series. DRIV3RGATE was a big problem for the series, and parallel lines was a spin off that took the series in the wrong direction. This game was to return driver to what it really is, action filled driving, chases, and stunts all tied together by a kickass crime drama storyline. But i respect your opinion
Finished this game for like the 40th time the other day, can't get enough of it. I've had my 360 copy since around 2013. It has the best, period.... Driving physics of any game, they aren't realistic, but they are fun, rewarding and idiot proof. You can be 5 years old and very quickly figure out how to go sideways in any car. But not only that, for those who want to push the limits, it allows that. Me personally I am top 50-100 in most if not all the driver movie missions and such. Once I was the 6th fastest person in the world on the cannonball run. But I accidentally "wiped" my account when moving to a new console even though it says it's still there, I have no idea how to access it.
My only complaint wih Driver SF are slightly underwhelming engine/car sounds. Like they are too muted and not bombastic enough compared to need for speed or older driver games aside of it its a near perfect game, handling, shift mechanic and nice expansive splitscreeb on consoles and mutliplayer.
0:19 - 0:22 That's right, John Tanner. You've learned a lot about not giving up from the Precure All Stars. I'm a huge fan of the Driver and the Pretty Cure franchises.
Yet another fantastic play through Willzyyy! Definitely one of my all time favorite games and a solid entry into the Driver series all around. Right up there with the OG Driver and Parallel Lines in my eyes. I still remember replaying the demo over and over again before it’s official release, and man that was a memorable weekend when I finally got to play the full game. Still holding hope that some day Ubisoft will acknowledge the fans of this series again and give the go ahead for a new Driver game to be developed! Maybe some day. Anyhow take it easy man, and catch you in NightCity next week!
Tanner: Jones, I had everything under control. Jones: Under control? Man, you were about to wreck my damn car! Now can we please get that beer? (engine starts)
A classic! Even if this is the last true Driver game (Speedboat Paradise doesn't exist lol) at least it ended on a good note 😎 Hope you had fun reliving this as much as we all did mate 🙂
Thanks a lot, because i struggle to go through 50% completion on both side missions like timed races, protect the armoured truck and so on i know that i will never finish this game...
I'm gonna miss this game but then again I can always play it again! Still that first time experience won't ever come back! This game is its own genre and nothing will ever come close to it! 🚗
0:27 Here's some tips: Jericho might be playing party ganging on you while you are on his tail, but he does not care if the shift-controlled cars under his control hit his own car, so all you have to do is take cover behind Jericho if there's any shift car from oncoming traffic. This way, Jericho will take heavy damage.
I Been Laying Around All This Time Watching This Driver Series Until I Got A Ichiban (Itchy Back) Hey Willzyyy You Have A Nanba (Number) For A Massager? 😁😆
the sadest thing is if you get back your old xbox 360 you see that you have drivera san francisco buy you countroler is broken and cant buy another one
Well technically Cyberpunk is an open-world crime game regardless of it being first-person. The Darkness is a linear FPS supernatural game. Don't forget the driving is third-person in Cyberpunk. :)
Great game! Great story! But as a native of San Francisco, they really fucked up the layout of the city XD To anyone who thinks this is what San Francisco looks like...it's not. It's so not...but this was more so a game for racing and cars so they needed to accommodate the layout to be for just that. If you want to play a game based in San Francisco that has a decent accurate layout, try Watch Dogs 2 which is ironically made by the same game developers of Driver San Francisco
Driver: San Francisco is Extremely Hysterical and Frivolous i’ve laughed at the entire scene. In the Hospital 🏥 That This Is When The Events That Occurred Happened When John Tanner is set in A Coma John Tanner Doesn’t Know Remember Realise That He’s In A Coma. But Charles Jericho Tells Him, John Tanner Now That He Remembered Knows Realizes Hes In A Coma. Tobias Jones Thinks That John Tanner Has To Get Hospitalized. Tobias Jones Has A Negative Reaction Of A Shift And Doesn’t Care.
The dialogue can get... pretty bad. "Hey, Jericho! Screw you, Jericho! I'm coming for you, Jericho!" Does he have to say his name at the end of like 80% of his lines?

Tanner's obsession?
@@mohdadeeb1829 Tanner's obsession with stopping Jerico
So, the whole premise of Driver SF is just whatever's inside Tanner's mind, including whatever info his comatose brain picks up from the news(?)
Basically yes
Yes, he was subconsciously taking in information from the TV news and playing it out in his head.
@@Willzyyy That may also include all of the game's side missions, I believe 🤔
Oh yeah that actually makes sense, as there would be other things to report other then what Jericho’s doing, like Kidnapping some guys son (chapter 4), Stealing a brief case in front of a class of kids, (Chapter 7), the street races, etc.
Yes, the last mission is real though. If Tanner dies, he actually dies.
Fun Fact: Jericho is voice by Michael Dobson who voiced Starscream from Transformers Armada, Energon and Cybertron.
In Russian version of DSF he was voiced by Alexander Gruzdev, which voiced Dude from Postal 2 and Lieutenant Bonds from SWAT 4
In the German Dub Jericho is voiced by the one who voiced Dom Toretto and Tanner by one who voiced Brian O'Connor, so the German Dub feels technically like a F&F Episode 😄
