Queen Latifah, from Rap to Broadway, to the Equalizer, there was a reason why I admired her since my youth!

Such a different take on the wizards character
Usually the character wears a grey suit but in here that’s not the case
The wizard wears flamboyant clothes and chose to be seen instead of choosing to be hidden
Usually no one sees someone in a suit and thinks wizard
Also it looks like the wizard is preforming real magic

in the stage version of The Wiz (and this version) Toto does not travel to Oz with Dorothy but appears at the beginning and end of the show, although the recent revival cut Toto all together :(
@@sheismymomToto, the Flying Monkeys, and the Field Mice Squad got the boot, which is sad.😢
Definitely a better Wizard than Richard Pryor.
At least this Wiz had the chance to sing. Pryor's Wiz didn't sing a note.
