Just saw the movie and I did feel her loneliness; appreciated the cliffhanger scenes when it fades to black because you know those days when you lose track of time and you feel like the time flies fast and you only recall few things you did in a certain day..I get it. I love how the director made it like that. It reminds me of Edgar Allan Poe's "Ligeia"

When she finally decides to leave, shes deciding to move on from this state of limbo, regardless of their pact. the ending scene in oman just affirms this. She finally makes contact with lewis. the last question she asks her brother, “or was it always just me?”, is her realizing that she was the sole person making herself unhappy. Waiting for this sign was messing up her life. Lewis agreeing just reifies this. He finally fulfills the pact only after she begins to live again. its like a "life is for the living" moral

To me, her little gestures like in 1:15 or 1:38 are the result of living through her character and this not that often to be seen in movies.
