If you stop trying to shape every shot you'll be more consistent. Go with your natural shot shape unless you have to curve a shot. Love the alignment sticks, especially as they're formed from the ball-to-target stick.
@@MrBrokentowels I know they do! The top players throughout history have played their natural shape and won plenty of tournaments and Majors! Of course, they have shaped a shot when needed, but that's the exception, not the rule. Addressing the ball parallel to your target breeds consistency. Whatever your natural shot shape is from there, go with it!
haha the way you said 0:15 "ya know, you can't use that on the course" was hilarious. Love it man. I use alignment aids almost every time I play non-tournament golf. I might use leaves or twigs I find on the ground or whatever. Next time I'm pulling out my alignment-sticks
Ben I know you probably will not see this but I recommend that you read the book a tournament golfers playbook written by Mike booker. He is a very accomplished amateur golfer. I think that it would help a ton with some problems you face. Whether you see this or not keep doing what your doing, your doing great.
The bird is called an anhinga, they're really interesting honestly. Despite being a water bird their feathers don't have the oily coating most other water birds have so they have to dry out their wings after swimming so they can fly.
@@benhaddengolfgot my tour aim yesterday!!! Used it for the first time today on a light hr session. I definitely need to do my videos tomorrow so they can tell me how to get the best use out of it! I tried today but when I got home I noticed my front face videos were way too zoomed in so you can’t see a lot. 😂 thanks again for this video and helping me finally pull the trigger on it! I’ve been eyeing it for like a year I feel like.
Black long neck bird is a Cormorant (fish eater). The tall ones are Sandhill Cranes (ribeye of the sky). They are omnivorous so they could be tearing up the tee for anything from roots or seeds to bugs & grubs.

I think that’s a great take. I think about 99% of PGA Tour players do that.

That’s literally what he does. Every shot he tries to hit a fade
@@mattdavis9752 That's not what I heard him say or what I saw.
@@TomsDinosaurOpinion when did he try and draw a ball other than from the trees?
This actually a pretty nice way to practice on course. I am gonna try it with alignment rods though.
Ok so... I just started video... and all I am thinking is... finally something new and interesting!!! fantastic dude!! I'll finish video now.

Those new balance spikes are filthy 🔥
Cormorant or water turkey if you're in Oklahoma.
Love the video. The bird you saw is called a cormorant. They are a diving and fish eating bird
"And that momentum is like her..." 😂😂
Such a cool idea

Was here to identify the bird, but I’m a little late in watching the video. This is the correct answer
I believe it's an anhinga. Common in Florida.
Anhinga, stands with its wings spread to dry its feathers, they dont have oil glands to waterproof like some waterfowl
Doing this next time I go on the course
Saw you at florida club td
I need to do this 😂
Need an updated WITB

We are from the same state, about the same age, let’s play together sometime & make some good content!

I think that’s an anhinga, the beak is straight and the tail is longer.
That isn't allowed.
I love your videos Ben 12 years old been playing for one year I am a 0 handicap any tips
No you just need to learn to keep your tee shot in the fairway and you’ll be fine.
Funny! Talks about ball position being a consistent problem, then changes how he is using the alignment aid so it doesn't help with ball position!
You need a better swing coach
