Hey Ben! I was thinking to buy the bundle, but I want to make sure I get the white rope hat instead of the other white/beige one. The dropdown only differentiates white/beige so I'm not sure which one to pick. Can you clear this up for me?
The amount of self-reflection in these videos not only makes for great content but shows how dedicated you are to your craft. Keep going! Can’t wait to see the next two rounds!
My son and I love your content. Keeping a calm head even after hitting a poor shot is tough to teach. My 12 year old always says "Dad, what would Ben do?" Keep up the good work.
I’ve been watching so much golf on UA-cam now that I have almost gotten bored of it, my mood changes THE INSTANT you post a “The Tour” video. I love these videos and I love you Ben. You make me want to be the best I can.
Personality + great golf + clean edits + great pace of video + grinding mentality = great golf content, and golf without the corniness. I really enjoyed this video, specifically watching the round unfold with narration and a focus on high or low moments.
Dude.. that was the gutsiest 75 I’ve ever seen. I 100% would have packed it in mentally and fallen off into the 80’s with that constant pressure of provisionals in a tournament setting. Bravo! Biggest thing I’ve gathered from your channel since you’ve gotten back to pro golf play is your mental ability to stay present after not having your best stuff. Well done man. Rooting for ya!
The self-reflection and post-analysis are such a great approach! This is the exact thing I'm working on and your decade content along with some Bob Rotella Audiobooks have helped me tremendously on the mental side. Always Press!!
The mental part of this game is HUGE! I loved hearing you go through this round and talk about the positive mental approach you had. Without it, you easily could have been 5-8 strokes higher. Great stuff!
Dude, as a struggling vet who found golf and saved my life, your videos are inspirational. You always look at the positives no matter what the outcome is. Makes me want to keep at it, keep practicing, and get better. Please keep up the content, your audience loves it.
You just got yourself a new subscriber. The grinding and staying in the moment even when things seem bleak is impressive. All the best in your journey and for sure I will be here following
Top notch video. It’s very refreshing to hear you talk through these rounds and golf shots after the fact and explain your process or thoughts. And also expressing that the next shot is the most important one no matter how you’ve been shooting! Thank you for another fantastic video Ben!
From someone who also struggles with their mental on the course, it was truly amazing to see how you not only bounced back, but stuck to the process throughout the second round. Like you said it could’ve easily been in the 80’s but +3 with all the provisionals and missed steps is a great round!
Good job showing great fortitude on that second round. You could have easily spiraled out of control. Maintaining your composure like that speaks volumes about your mental toughness. Keep up the good work. Peace!
Keep it up Ben! We believe in you. You are mentally very tough and it shows as you stick to your plan no matter what. Be kind to yourself with your self talk and know that we all support you.
Your 2nd round, in competition, and being able to grind like that....that's just gritty golf that will only make you better/mentally tougher in the future. Go get you some Ben!
The skills and talent are definitely there… good things to come Ben. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you. Belief and faith in your abilities to get to where you belong.
Mate, you should be so proud! Way to grind it out. If your mental is good, it will carry you when the physical isn’t. Rarely happens the other way around. You are going to succeed. Want nothing but the best for you mate!
Haven't been able to watch all of this series but from the struggles i've seen you have in some of the early videos, this is awesome to see, especially the shot shaping with your driver. Keep grinding man!! We're all rooting for you
so thrilled to start youtube and there’s a new BHG video! Highlight of my week. Speaking of highlights, loved the little SportsCenter after the sand shot!
All you can do is focus on the shot in front of you, and not let your emotions get the better of you when you don’t hit the shot you wanted. I feel like you did a pretty good job of that here, keep it up!
Very insightful. I really like what you’re doing here. You and Bryson have become my top 2. You have really gotten better since the Good Good days. I really enjoy your videos.
Watching this video at this course really changed my mental game as my first tourney of the year was at this course and to see someone else struggle really helps me understand that even the best of the best can have bad shots Great video Ben
What a great first round in really hard conditions , that second round was a war ,an emotional rollercoaster of man versus golf course. Well fought ben
Your content has really been good lately, keep it up. Looking forward to the next vid. Your lag putting is insanely good and definitely saving you. Driver was just putting you in trouble that second round but normally your smoking that thing deep! Just keep the confidence up in that driver and you be lighting up the courses
That’s impressive mate, I know the feeling of scrapping in a good score but usually for me it’s ball striking, in your case that was just really hard conditions. You can do it!
that is one hell of a tight golf course! OBs left and right and hazards everywhere!! Most people under Q School conditions would have seized up under the pressure!
There is a thing of keeping the head too still on the backswing. For full shots with the driver (and perhaps down to the 3-wood) at the top of the backswing, the head is rotated away from the target normally, rather than the head has no to very little turn away at the top of the backswing. When the situation is tight, there can be a tendency to keep the head too still so that there is even little to no rotation away at the top of the full driver backswing. Without the head rotating away at the top of the full backswing, the clubhead is kept less inside at the top of the driver full backswing. Two problems can happen as a result. (1) With the clubhead less inside at the top of the backswing, the initial weight shift back to the left will shift the clubhead even less inside, during the initial move of the downswing. There is less "initial launching room" for the clubhead to go inside-out during the initial weight shift to the left, because the clubhead is already fairly outside at the top of the backswing without enough head rotation away. Thus, entering the release phase of the downswing, the clubhead path is already traveling along the target-line, so that by impact, the clubhead will be traveling outside-in, resulting in pulling and yanking the ball left. (2) To avoid yanking the ball left as a result of keeping the head too still without any rotation to the right at the top of the backswing for a full driver shot, the weight shift to the left at the start of the downswing has to be less full and aggressive to prevent an outside-in path at impact, so that too much weight is left on the right side at impact, causing too much scooping-up at impact with the face opening at impact, as the less than fully established left-side cannot pull the clubface fully squared with the clubhead pulled by the left-side into a straight and boring path into the ball, resulting in driving the ball right. Keeping the head too still can produce drives to the left and right on a random fashion. For the 4-wood down to the wedges, keeping the head too still with minimal to no rotation is not usually a problem, as outside-in cutting action at impact causes little problem for shorter clubs with higher loft faces, as clubface-angle at impact is the dominating factor over clubhead-path for the shorter clubs, and many golfing greats are faders.
Again another awesome video! Keep the grind going and thanks for the great idea! I get mad at the price of green fees these days. So now ill just hit a provisional on every hole just to get my money's worth. 😂

@@Lord7979 we don’t carry a white rope hat yet, if you’re referring to the cursive script hat, those are being made right now

Thanks man! Reflection is so underrated
I’ll be totally honest these videos are easily some of the best on UA-cam I’ve seen in a while(keep it up bro)

As per usual, the best golf content on UA-cam. Can’t wait to see the final 2 rounds.
