He briefly mentioned that he is big into stretching and flexibility vs pounding on the range and how he was stretching for 20 minutes, before he even started his warm up. I would love a video about that. Maybe even a Q&A with him about it. This is something we could all learn more about.
once you have your swing down it takes less maintenance practice to maintain it. most guys just play on course vs hitting on range which its what he does.
@@Isgerrior1 this young man has a natural gift. Some don't have to pound balls for three hours a day to maintain that gift. Lee Trevino rarely hit very many balls on a driving range before a PGA tournament. And if you remember, Lee was one of the best ball strikers in the history of the game.

David and Maxwell began playing the game at a young age so a lot of their work on the range was done before they could even drive a car. They had their swings down to a science before they got out of high school. Nowadays if you see them practicing it is on the short game facility. They chip and putt every single day. They still hit balls from time to time but if you see them making a full swing it is likely on the golf course. David is the only player I've ever been around that I can say with confidence has a really good shot at playing this game for a living. I see him winning on the PGA Tour one day. I'm a fan of his because of who he is as a person. There are a lot of good players out there but he's as nice as they come.
@@georgespalding7640 yeah he has good short game and accuracy off the tee just only got to see one iron shot that wasnt a wedge. just wasnt much to go on since every pro can stick in close with wedges.
@@whatthe3504 Not many pros can go to a strange golf course and shoot 12 under for 14 holes sight unseen. I've been around Golf for a long time and this kid is the real deal. Plus he's got a great positive mindset.

The longest birdie putt he had all day was 10 feet. he knew he had to eagle the last hole to win the tournament and shoot 59. His drive went 340 yards and he hit 5 iron to 6 feet and made the putt. I was standing 30 feet away when he made the putt. A fond memory in my life to have witnessed that round.

My best went on the course, but being a Christian really puts it in place with what’s important in life.. I’m super impressed with this kid swinging skillet but more impressed by the fact that he talked about his faith the way he did. I've seen UA-cam golf creators "nibble" around the edges of their faith, but David's short testimony is obviously legitimate, and well-received. It seems like you both, love the Lord and are unashamed. Your channel is what I've been looking for to break the monotony of UA-cam Golf of late. I've watched folks like Josh Kelly, Evan Thompson, and others, who also seem to hold to our primary existence for life. Golf is just a gift from God to enjoy and use for Christ's glory. Just a thought, you might want to collaborate with other Christians to not only bless other Christians, but expand your reach to a lost world who love the game of Golf! I'd be interested in how Grant Horvat, and George Bryan would respond to a collaboration effort with you? BTW, I just subscribed.

The kid doesn't get started until the fifth hole and shoots 60.....My goodness. This is PGA tour material right here folks.
