We had this for dinner tonight and added some vermicelli noodles throughout the salad. Honestly this was a 10 for my family! The sweet, tangy, salty & spicy was the perfect combination, my tastebuds were dancing!! The lightness of the meal was also a winner. This meal is definitely going to be a favourite in our household. Thanks for the inspo Marion! We love you from Australia!

Very good! My husband's aunt makes an amazing Cambodian version of this dish. I was lazy and used what I had at home, and just cilantro for all of the herbs and Meyer lemon for lime actually tasted great. Just a little less sugar because of the lower acid and bitterness in the Meyer lemon. Delicious recipe! Thank you! I never dreamt I would make this myself. I will have a very happy husband at the dinner table this evening. I did go a bit spicy, and my one-year old loved it.

This has become mine and my partner's favourite dish of all time!! The salad is so fresh and tangy that it feels so authentically Thai. My partner has decided to make it for his brother and dad when they come over for dinner this week! Thanks Marion for all these amazing recipes, we are going through so many already and our palettes have expanded so much. The Singapore chilli prawns are up next!

Living out in the remote western US countryside it can be difficult to find ingredients such as fresh mint (of any kind) or peppers other than jalapeños, so I’ll have to wait until next summer when I can harvest my own produce.
    It is what it is.

Karen WyzWmn Brown don’t add the chilli if you don’t like chilli. The chilli is there for heat so can you substitute for cayenne pepper mixed into the dressing?
