I just had surgery today, and then I discovered this mod through your video. I absolutely love X3 despite its plethora of flaws, and one of them is that you can barely play Zero, so this absolutely made my day.
This was the sega sateen or was it the sega cd version. There is mega man x3 snes mod that let's you do this. To
@@JChaosMaster there isn't a sega cd version or a Saturn, there was however a PSX version and PC port (X2 strangely was the only one to lack one before x legacy collection).

@@Triumph._. he probably hid the life bar in the emulator layers and edited another one in. Since isnt planinning to take damage either way, its just to look fancy

You wanna know the sad part of this? If Zero hadn't given Blast Hornet his invitation to Doppler Town, Hornet would still be working with X and Zero as a hunter for the 0th Unit.

How would it have been “twice epic”? This art style is way better than the later games and much more timeless. This game is already the best X game in the series.
@@OrangeXenon54 X4 and megaman 8 were more better looking tho. So much detail .Not saying this looks bad by any means. I like it as well but the 16 graphics can only do so much compare to 32. X3 is really good but I don't think it's the best.imo

I think he would have to look at everytime he fired a charged shot, add effects, then do it again, but those aren’t the old effects that he adds, so it must take a long time
@@cowgaming7186 the effort this guy puts in his videos is crazy, since he is adding light and other effects to make it even better, it must take a lot of time, let alone the attempts to do stages and sections without damage.

Almost everything is custom. I believe he has a hack where it shows the actual digits of the health instead of the health bar itself.

Since at least X4 you can have one button to fire whatever weapon is selected and another to fire the buster.

How did you achieve those visual effects on Zero's shots and the buster's charge?
X3 Zero's max charge was the two blasts and one saber strike. X can earn the Z saber too, but the process is a bit convoluted.

look up the mmx3 zero project v4 or v5 for SNES. Youmayhave to patch the rom but you wont be disappointed.

Thank God, it has the music from the SNES version since this pop sound of the PSX game is so freaking lame! Btw. How did you achieve those SFX like all the glowing stuff? Is it a hack like the MSU-1 hack but for FX? Or is this 32-bit sprite work?

I can't seem to find this mod, any tips? Google isn't much help as it points to a SNES mod. When this is clearly the PC/PS1 version.
It's a combination of Zero Project V4.4 AND the PC/PSX version, like someone else said.

Even though this is a mod, I wish that this was in the game has an option, where you can select either X or Zero. Yes I know that it's X4 & X5 that does it. This still would have been nice though.
