That superboss information is incorrect, you only need 1 run to face it and its just canon of vengeance. To face them, save before the final boss of vengeance, then after beating the final boss, make a SEPARATE clear data, after doing so reload the save data right before vengeance's final boss and you have access to the super boss assuming you finished all sidequests leading up to said superboss
It's Canon of creation that has a superboss that requires an existing Canon of vengeance playthough that obtained a specific item to fight them

You don't actually have to clear Secret Neutral on CoC to get access to the new exclusive CoV superboss - you just need to beat Lucifer and load up your save after it (read: before you begin NG+ proper.) Then, you go to Shinjuku and speak to Mastema there to either do the Samael quest (if you didn't go back and do it as soon as the Empryean opened up) or speak to him to open up the superboss.
Either way, if you wanna fight the full powered Masakado superboss you do need to do the CoV in order to get access to Shinjuku and to get an item there that will unlock that version of Masakado in the CoC.
ALSO speaking of Secret Neutral, apparently the stronger Lucifer fight from that ending IS in the CoV - you just have to defeat Shiva beforehand (dunno if this can be done before or after the Empryean opens up - Secret Neutral demands you kill Shiva before the Empryean opens up so I'd do that to be safe in the CoV.) Then, you get an option right before you fight Lucifer asking if you wanna fight a strong being (default Lucifer fight found on CoV AND the Law/Chaos endings of CoC) or a extraordinarily strong being (the secret neutral fight from the CoC.)

To all who want to save time and access the 3 new superbosses in SMT5V:
1. COV (get the item needed for True Masakado fight in COC, kill/recruit Satan for Godborn)
2. COC (normal Masakado fight, and use the item from COV for True version).
Simple as this. Hope this clears the confusions online. Demi Fiend/Shiva are available on both COC/COV if you still wanna face em.

i was looking for this type of Video, im having a hard time to choose the routes, thanks man. BTW, if i want to feel the best outcome for overall story, should i then play Vengeance -> Creation -> Creation+ -> Vengeance+? or should i play Creation -> Vengeance -> Creation+ -> Vengeance+?

but for the first playthrough I'll go through blind, then I'll probably new game plus to speed up the process from there!
Thanks for the information! I didn't know you had to clear Creation before Vengeance in order to unlock a Vengeance superboss.
Now I know I made the right choice to begin with Canon of Creation. Three runs of this game would've burned me out.😅
