I've always said that if Brendon Small was ever in Guitar Hero, this would 100% be his battle track. (But an extensive version of course) Great to see it visualized!
When I play guitar hero I swear to God some solos are actually easier on guitar cuz you can easily slide up and down the neck vs having only 5 buttons for solo stuff
Funnily enough I started out playing GH before getting into real guitar, and after getting into real guitar I'd been playing for like 5 or so years and one song in particular I love playing is Surfing With the Alien. My GOD is that song so much easier to play on real guitar than Guitar Hero. I got fucked so hard when I went back to guitar hero trying to play that song, I would even subconsciously reach for the whammy bar every time it came up in the song forgetting that most whammy bar related stuff are translated to just more notes in GH so it made me feel like an idiot every time lmao
@@PathtoMidnight It's definitely a high intermediate song to learn on guitar, especially due to the sweeps being a fairly difficult technique to learn. Having said that, if you've played guitar for a while (anywhere from like 1 to 6 years depending on how often you practice honestly) and you've put a fair amount of practice into sweeps, this song would feel fairly easy to play compared to trying to play it in GH.
Toki is more important to the band than people think? I mean I normally love lead guitar but Toki made his way into my heart. I see myself somewhat in the playing style; I had a talent for violin but I don't really practice and am just as good as first chair. I feel like even is Skiwsgaar is egotistic he may want someone to answer his "call" which is why they opted for a rhythm guitarist. Beck and call is wonderful and can be good to feel as "one"

No it doesn't deserve more views. I mean it's cool, sure, but if people spent as much time as they do on guitar/clone hero on a real instrument, we would definitely have a much larger metal community in America, which we desperately need
It def deserves more views. I love dethklok a metric fuck ton to where all my guitars are tuned to C and I’ve learned this solo along with others. I’d love for more people to hear this and do the same but if this gets more views acai might play it and honestly that feels more important
